A small quaint cafe attached to the railroad platform in Bangor. Very comfortable seating, with a mix of single and communal sitting for getting work done or socializing. A good selection of tasty coffee and sandwiches. I bff love spending an hour or more here on my day off

I visited this establishment looking for lunch and a coffee drink. The employees were brash but nice enough. On entering I was told that they can't serve food due to equipment malfunction. I didn't let that discourage me. I decided to stay and order a drink. I ordered a 16oz Mocha with an extra shot. This was the worst drink I had ever had. The espresso was weak even with an extra shot. The milk was over steamed and the overall flavor was lacking. I gave the drink back. I didn't request a refund, I just said thank and left. I was greatly disappointed. The Railroad Cafe has a beautiful building but as far a coffee goes I wouldn't recommend it. Save your money.

I dont know who it was there this morning but her attitude was not friendly at all i wanted to wish her a late national hugging day which was yesterday and she told me no in a very rude way and she didnt smile like the other person in there who was very outstandingly nice she actually gave me a hug and the prices there are very high just a sandwhich is $7 and a 12 inch specialized coffee is almost $3 i really didnt appreciate the rudness the person had anyway never going near that place again not even going to get a drink

Small sad so-called "beef" pannini - looked like unknown packaged generic meat. Broccoli cheddar soup looked like it came from a tin can. My friend ordered 2 chili dogs. They only had enough chili for "maybe" one dog. No drink choices other than coffee or tea. Not very clean. Server was wearing her winter coat, hat, and muddy boots. No one else in the place at lunchtime on a Friday. It isn't what it used to be - not at all.

Wow! I can't believe I've never been here. My breve was delicious, Elizabeth was very knowledgeable about her hand made products. From Carmel to pastries to salads.... I cannot wait, to come back.
Good wholesome food, great service, friendly staff, excellent coffee and teas, beautiful setting.

This place is great , I don't usually go to places like this I was visiting a friend and they said we were going to get breakfast and brought me here , I didn't know what coffee was what, I don't drink much coffee no clue about the other stuff , the girl with the dreads was very helpful , very nice smile as well , explained to me all this new stuff for Dark chocolate latte way to go , I have had a lunch and breakfast there I go out of my way to go here at least a couple times a month , a must stop if your passing threw , the also bake cookies peanut butter ones are my favorite but they are all very good , my complaints on the Consistency of quality food and service.
Out of business.
