This was our last stop today as we meandered through some of Michigan's wine country. Veteran owned business! Sampled some meads, met the owner and had some good conversation, and then did a little axe throwing (a first for us). Great place to stop and Dave (the owner) is a great axe throwing instructor. Took a couple of bottles of mead home for later this Fall. Glad we stopped and we will be back.
Back in 2019, I was searching for a traditional mead as a gift to my bride's father. Since he is a Norwegian-American, I wanted to honor an old tradition of getting the father-in-law drunk for the honeymoon. This place was really interesting. Kinda old fashioned and interesting architecture. The owner told us some fun stories while we tried the 5 for $5 menu! Tasted some great options and bought the Feather. They also have some fun sodas to try and honey sticks!
