The restaurant burned down a couple of years back and was a total loss, so there is no food here. The rooms are old but they are kept very clean. They allow pets. Carla is a very good host!
This place! When I say this was a great stay I mean just that! Carla and Doug have that old school hospitality that is missing in this world! The rooms aren't the Hyatt, but that's the charm of this location. The rooms were clean, like they literally came by every day to check if service was needed, and big box hotels aren't even doing that anymore. This lovely little motel has a cozy vibe, with a great unobstructed view of the Keweenaw Bay. It's conveniently located along the main road. There is no longer a restaurant, but we came here to sleep, not eat. The owner was super nice, and got us a room when we showed up late at night desperately looking for a place to stay. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It has outside entrances that you can park right by. There is a nice deck/patio for smoking...
