I was extremely disappointed by the lack of cleanliness during my visit. The coffee cups, silverware, orange juice glass, and water glasses all had visible residue on them and looked filthy. This is totally unacceptable for any restaurant.
When I asked the waitress for clean replacements, I was told, “Oh, this is how everything is.” I regularly dine at restaurants all over Battle Creek, and none of them have these kinds of sanitation issues.
I reached out to the corporate office, and they sent me a $10 gift card. I have no interest in using it, as I will not be returning. I would much rather see that money—and more—invested into properly fixing the cleanliness and sanitation problems.
For an iconic restaurant, this is a complete failure. I will never be back.

Until a mother ignored her 3 very young boys running around. Ordered pop for them, which did not help. No manager to take control and just ask politely to have the 5 or 6 year Olds to stay in seats. OMG

Everything was great. Waitress forgot something, which is fine but it ahiukd have came out with my meal. She forgot something for my roommate. He said to wait...I waited but she did not even poke her head around. This happened again and I went to the counter. Standing and talking to others and not checking on seated customers is bad. I observed and it happened to others. There was no check back until we were almost done to see if we needed anything and I needed another water.
Our group of 3 had a nice breakfast together at this Bob Evans. Biscuits and banana bread are always a favorite for breakfast along with eggs and bacon. Good stuff!

Worst food ever had from Bob Evans. The sauce on the Blue ribbon bacon was granulated and not much of it. Bacon was hard and cold, highly disappointing biscuits were hard as well.
