It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I can say I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service. I arrived late almost closing time and Bear was so kind and helpful. I have memories of eating chicken coop as far back as I can remember. Living in the area we ate a LOT of chicken coop. Having moved away I hadn't visited in over 10 years. My first experience back was like coming home. The food was just how I remembered it. It brought back a flood of great memories of times long gone with people missed dearly. My nostalgia trip was even better than expected. Thank you for staying true to what this business has been for the last 20-30 years.
I love the fish here it's kind of greasy though. But the taste is delish. The chicken is kind of dry, in the sides are pretty good. But there's something in the gravy that I don't know. Little pink things... Possibly pork? I won't be getting that again. The coleslaw is good, the fries are good, and the fish is delish.
