Long Island Cafe in Battle Creek offers delicious food with large portions at reasonable prices. The friendly wait staff, including Scarlett, Avery, and Mollie, serves great meals in a clean, nicely decorated dining area with high and low tables. The crepes with caramel and pecans, house-made hot sauce, and seriously great coffee are must-tries, along with the Reuben sandwich, which is the best some have had in a long time. Despite being busy, the restaurant maintains quality service and a popular atmosphere, making it a highly recommended stop for breakfast and lunch. The staff is very accommodating, especially with kids, and the manager or owner is on top of customer service and very friendly. Many customers look forward to coming back nearly every day.
