The waitress and other staff were very rude
Waitress changed my order because what I ordered came with biscuits so I couldn't get toast too.
Took forever to get my coffee.
I'll never go back .

Visited Speeds Restaurant at their new location in Urbandale Plaza (Sunday 9/1/24), for breakfast. Restaurant was well lit, spacious, booths & tables. At first glance it looked clean. We were disappointed that the chairs (black fabric cushions) were excessively DIRTY & rusty. We tried switching chairs but, they were ALL soiled. I spoke with the owner (past 25 years) about cleaning the chairs. The chairs would look new if cleaned & frames spray painted with $6 can of Rustoleum paint. The dirty chairs were a distraction from an otherwise positive experience. #cleanlinessmatters

Food was good. Second day in a new location and they were packing people in. Great turn out for a Battle Creek staple.

Parking: They moved from a location with a confusing lot to a strip mall, plenty of parking space, easy to maneuver as long as everyone remembers it's still a parking lot.

First time at The new Speed's Koffee Shop in Urbandale Plaza. Loved it. Bacon and eggs were great. Will be going back soon.

Been here a few times since they've opened. Never went there prior to them changing locations, so I did not know what to expect. Got the #12 breakfast off the menu for takeout, under $10 and very fairly priced, as was the rest of the menu. Waitresses were very polite and helpful. I like that you can see the whole kitchen from the dining area. Place is usually busy, but food comes out fast. A little underseasoned, but the food is always good. My biscuits and gravy were a bit sweet when I took a bite, which threw me off. Never had that before! Might be the butter. But, it was spectacular. I find myself craving them now! Would definitely come back for lunch and dinner, or more breakfast.

Kid-friendliness: This place has diner vibes, and plenty of seating. They also have kids menus.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room, very accessible to disabled folks.
