I'm moving away from my Bay City and I can only pray that my new hometown has a place like Barque. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so relaxing and fun, and the staff are very friendly and genuine. I highly recommend the house bloody mary, which has a variety of delicious pickled veggies. 11/10 stars.
Everything I tried at Barque was amazing. The tacos are very well filled and the flavors are so great! Make sure to try the chips with parmesan they're the perfect compliment to the tacos!

Great food, the jalapeno mayo is on point great smoked flavor. I personally had the Chicken Apple Taco, and the combination of flavors paired very well with my crisp apple ? hard cider.

I bit into my brisket taco and thought I’d died and went to Texas! I haven’t had barbecue this good since living down south. A fun, unassuming hole in the wall that serves awesome food. The fact that my gluten intolerant wife and daughter didn’t have any problems at all was an added bonus.Dietary restrictions: Both my wife and daughter have wheat allergies as well as problems with lactose. They have a dedicated grill so we didn’t have to worry about cross-contamination. No problems whatsoever!
Visiting family in the area and they highly recommended this place. Living near DC/Baltimore I know all about the food truck/hipster vibe. That seems to be what they're going for here. I decided to try the brisket taco. At $8 or $9 each it was pretty pricey. One wasn't enough to fill me up. I wasn't about to order a second overpriced taco. I prefer to support local places, but within reason. The portions are too small for the amount they're charging. I'd expect $30 per person. Maybe have it 3 tacos for 20 to make it more reasonable If they started offering pulled pork or brisket separately, that might increase business for people who don't want a taco. I'm scared how much they'd charge per pound. Personally I'd much rather go to mission bbq (their flagship store is only a few miles from my house) or smoke my own meats.

If pigeon wings are your desire, don't worry, they have plenty. Why not pay for full priced wings and get less than a bite in each wing. You would have to eat 50 of these things to equal a chicken sandwich. Soooo disappointed
