Casa Flores Taqueria & More

We went hungry to Casa Flores on a Wed expecting to try a different restaurant. It was supposed to open at 11:am it was already 11:30 am. Lights were off and the door was locked. No explanation on the door.

Absolutely fantastic......best Mexican food this side of the Rio Grande!
We've lived most of our lives in the Southwest and eaten Mexican food all over the 48 and this is top notch.
We'll be back and bring friends.

Yesterday, I hosted a lunch party here for 10 people, and called the day before to give them a heads up that we were coming. None of us had eaten here before. The food and service were excellent. We will be back.

If you love Mexican cuisine. This is the spot. Best Mexican food in the tri city, hands down

THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. BEWARE!! DONT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Make sure you read the FRONT of the menu and fine print here because my boyfriend and I felt like we were scammed and did not know of additional charges for chips and salsa etc. LIMES were an up charge as well. Was not explicitly stated. My boyfriend’s rice tasted like it was frozen and warmed up in the microwave. I had ordered a taco meal and did not specify hard or soft shell and it came out soft, I requested hard and was told it would be a $2 up charge when if II had orginally just sated this, it would have been the same price. I decided to get something else and proceeded to get the most rushed order of nachos which were terrible.

The icing on the cake wasn’t even the food, it was the HORRIBLE service. The younger waitress who was taking care of us seemed to have the most stark attitude. Not sure if it was the worst day of her life or what but it was NOT appreciated. I felt like we shouldn’t even have tipped but we DID and will NEVER EVER be returning. I do NOT RECOMMEND.

My Family and I stoped by on our way home. Birria tacos was one of the best I have ever tried. Staff recommended it and it was awesome. Very clean, and friendly people. Will come back.

We visited today from 2:48–4:07 PM with a group of 10 (including two infants). The food was okay, and one of the waitresses was kind, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, the overall service was disappointing. We were told we should have made a reservation, even though the restaurant was not busy (only a couple of other patrons). Throughout the meal, our table was only checked on once, and used plates were not cleared—even when we ordered dessert. We ended up having to move plates ourselves just to make room.

What was most concerning was when one staff member told my daughter she could take care of her own plates, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.

We understand that large groups can be challenging, but basic service and communication go a long way—especially when the restaurant is not busy. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing. The service had a clear attitude from the start, which made us feel unwelcome. After we finished eating, our table wasn’t cleared, and we were left sitting with dirty dishes for quite a while. To make matters worse, they even brought out dessert while the table was still covered in dirty plates. On top of that, our drinks were never refilled. Basic customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, this visit missed the mark.

Food was ok, not anything to write home about.
Service was poor at best. Younger girl was mad we didn't have a reservation when the restaurant was literally empty. Had to go back up to the counter for refills on pop. Table was not cleared and when we started to try n clean up the table a bit the aforementioned girl got rude to our party and told us to take care of our plates out back. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. And forget leaving a low percentage tip as they calculated gratuity into the total amount due. I'm not one to leave a bad review, but this one took the cake. Keep your money and don't waste your time here.

Delicious meal, the food was great. I went for lunch on a Tuesday and I was the only one there, what a shame. Really good food, generous portions and the best guac I've had in a long time.

My husband & I stopped here to grab some food on the way home by chance. 10/10 recommend. We will be back, hopefully soon! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. It came out quick and you could tell everything was super fresh.
