Absolutely stunned. Ordered a latte, iced coffee and hot latte, cashier seemed confused but rang us up. Out came two cold brews. I explained one is supposed to be a latte. He pointed to the hot latte and I said yes but we ordered an iced latte too. He silently took the drink. I took a sip of my iced coffee and it was iced tea. I told him and he silently took my drink, didn’t acknowledge the error or apologize. 15 minutes later I see the correct drinks on the end of the table, they never told us. This was such a poor representation of Live Oak- abysmal service

Food and atmosphere was good! One of our drinks was made wrong which totally understand things happen. Staff wasn’t the friendliest, unfortunately :(

Ordered a gluten free sandwhich for breakfast, they never subbed for gluten free and I got sick. Also their coffee tastes burnt and old all the time. On top of all of this, when I try and call,IF someone picks up, they just hang back up and don't answer. Horrendous experience

This is mine and my husband's favorite coffee shop. Anytime we come to Bay City we try and stop for a cold brew here. The atmosphere is cozy and earthy with a homey feel. The coffee is smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. They make their own syrups, which is a bonus. The baristas have always been kind and welcoming, answering any questions I have had. Great place for a coffee date.

Weak coffee. Horrible cardboard cup with improper fitting lid, which fell off on the way to the car. Wish We would have gotten McDonald's insteadπŸ˜₯

LOVE LOVE LOVE LIVE OAK OF BC!!!! Tasty drink options and lots of them (although, PLEASE bring back the s’mores cold brew!!!). AWESOME staff! Some times I just go for some Avery and Ellory time! They are always so upbeat, kind, fun to chat with and absolutely wonderful in every way. Feel free to open up shop on the other side of the river as well though please (and make sure the Dynamic sis duo works there often)!!!

So these guys are the new Grove eh... While I do still miss Grove, I am not disappointed in Live Oak. We tried something new today and enjoyed it. Price was a little high I thought, but very nice quality, so you definitely get what you pay for here. Will be an occasional treat place for sure. Also how the hecc did you make a gluten free brownie that didn't taste terrible?! I demand to know your secrets!!

I love Live Oak and have been coming for years I normally go in midland, but I sometimes go to Bay City. The staff is always friendly and kind and the shop is clean. However, the last 2 times I have been in theres has been a group of men who are talking loudly about the current political climate. They are not only rude, they are outwardly racist and homophobic. Live Oak is supposed to be a place for all, and everyone should feel welcome. These men make the place uncomfortable and I didn't want to enjoy my coffee in the shop anymore. I could tell other guests were also hearing their VERY LOUD discussion and getting uncomfortable. The staff also seemed on edge and helpless on what to do. Needless to say, I wont be back until I know that someone is handling this issue. Those men and people like that our hurting our community. If you are going to allow them to make others uncomfortable with their conversions I wont be supporting any Live Oak. I don't feel safe or welcome in your coffee shop. Do better.
