I’ve been to Tavern 101 several times. Service is always friendly & welcoming.
Favorites are ranch buttered popcorn flatbread pizza, & the fried green beans. Just a little disappointed that they now charge for the refills on the popcorn, especially when service is slow. Tried the hibachi bowl, very unusual flavor, not sure I’ll order that again. Overall, great place to eat & drink!
Chris Pappas there is amazing. A great bartender (worker) makes all the difference. Hes professional, attentive, and goes above and beyond. I worked with him previously at another venue and was a joy to work with. Tavern is lucky to have him. Go in, get a nice meal, and give him the tip he deserves. Great service, and a great atmosphere in downtown Bay City
The service was slow for the fact it wasn't busy. Free popcorn was nice. And tasty.
The food was good. My main complaint is the server didn't write anything down and then forgot the fine details. Like no tomato and fries.
My secondary complaint is it took far longer than it should have.
And the menu is fairly limited.
Otherwise I definitely enjoyed my meal. A little pricey but not too much.
