I’ve enjoyed playing the course over the years - very interesting design and playable for golfers at all ability levels. Unfortunately, the conditioning has declined. I fixed at least 7-10 ball marks on every green and most bunkers were unraked. There are no on-course rangers to assist with pace of play and the water coolers were not filled and the water fountains were not working. Lunch was great, although the service was slow.
Definitely a challenge but so fun to play. The greens are hard and fast and the bunkers are aplenty. Taking advantage of the practice area with deep bunkers is definitely something I recommend doing before your round. The pace of play was also something I was pleasantly surprised by. Can't wait to play this course again!
My favorite of the Arcadia Courses. Tough but so much fun to play. Love the firm, fast fairways and greens. A very different experience from Bluffs, which makes it stand out because it's not trying to be another Bluffs, but rather leave its own mark for what it is. I could play this course every day and always leave happy.
