I have been coming to the wild strawberry for 17 years. They consistently serve wonderful food with pleasant, friendly service. I had a Reuben sandwich the other day that was fabulous! High marks for this Beaver Island institution!
Great food, great place and great people. The food is crafted with love. My personal favorite is the Italian Job, good even for breakfast. This is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Sit on the deck outside and watch the boats, tugs and ferry come and go. Dog friendly outside.
We are visiting Beaver Island for the weekend. We went to the café yesterday for coffee. I had the cold brew and it was so good! We went again today for lunch. I had the Italian Job sandwich. It was delicious! I had another cold brew coffee. My mom and kids had smash burgers that looked scrumptious! The staff is very friendly and upbeat. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and cute. We will probably go again for coffee and breakfast.
