Great food, great place and great people. The food is crafted with love. My personal favorite is the Italian Job, good even for breakfast. This is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Sit on the deck outside and watch the boats, tugs and ferry come and go. Dog friendly outside.
We are visiting Beaver Island for the weekend. We went to the café yesterday for coffee. I had the cold brew and it was so good! We went again today for lunch. I had the Italian Job sandwich. It was delicious! I had another cold brew coffee. My mom and kids had smash burgers that looked scrumptious! The staff is very friendly and upbeat. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and cute. We will probably go again for coffee and breakfast.
If you're ever on Beaver Island (and you should go) you need to go to the Wild Strawberry. It is family owned by Bryan and Natalie (gems of people) and the ingredients are SO fresh, the portions are generous, genuine smiles accompany the efficient service, and the selections are eclectically relevant to virtually any appetite. We brought our basketball teams here and to a person (players and coaches alike) everyone raved, so we are back here again this morning for breakfast!
