My partner came on Saturday off the bike trail expecting the Smyrna Bar, and instead we're thrilled to find the place had been transformed into Gather! Wow, we were completely blown away by the transformation from dingy hole in the wall to bright farm to table restaurant. The redesign isn't fancy, the inside remains unpretentious and comfortable. Small town, fancy flavors, humble surroundings, reasonably priced. Cocktails were out of this world. Huge burger special, garam marsala duck with dal and a mango-fennel salsa. Lemon curd tart with blackberry and raspberry. So delicious.
