Dockside Torch Lake

Amazing first visit to Torch Lake and Dockside. The server was excellent - she had great suggestions and was very attentive.

Wonderful place to watch the sunset and enjoy dinner. Or grab a sandwich at lunch and enjoy the lake . They have a great deck./patio , good bartenders, dockside has a wonderful atmosphere, the chicken wings are delicious, the blackened Cajun mahi tacos got some good cajun kick on them be aware . Biker friendly folks here. Always a great stop.!!!!!!! Cheers!!!

I've been coming here my whole life. It's delicious 🤤😋. I love their Dockbyrger of course but their smoked chicken quesadilla is yummy too.

In the past the food was good. Tonight I ordered the nachos with just ground beef. I have no idea what this mystery meat was, but it was disgusting. The chips were so hard I couldn't even eat them. They did take it off the bill for me.

My nachos left a lot to be desired. The inside of the restaurant is ok. It was too chilly to eat outside, unfortunately. Would’ve loved the view of the lake.

Rude and dirty. I sat at the bar and the staff seemed to be annoyed to have to come to me. I’m a server myself and I know the struggle. I wasn’t expecting smiles. But after waiting 10 minutes when it’s not even busy and I can see the bartenders standing around talking, i decided to try to wave someone down. When I finally got their attention I got attitude and felt like I was inconveniencing them. Now the rest of the staff seemed to be working, but the bar just stands around and seems to be gossiping. If you’re going to talk about the customers or god forbid your fellow employees, show some respect and do it away from the customers. Also, it’s not very clean and I hope the health department pays them a visit soon because I saw the people who carry out the food not washing their own hands or cleaning dirty cups then going to the food. I felt sick the next day and it’s likely because if this behavior is allowed in front of house imagine how bad the kitchen is.

It’s a beautiful place, but the service was TERRIBLE. I sat at the bar and overheard two of the guy bartenders making jokes that were RACIST, and seemingly from what I could overhear from other employees coming to the bar, one of them was a MANAGER?!? They weren’t aimed at me, but they were just in bad taste and made me uncomfortable and I’m sure anyone else around uncomfortable. This doesn’t belong in any establishment. Not only that, but I saw one of the people who serves the food use dirty hands from scraping off food from plates serve someone food. The health department should look into this and someone should be reminding the employees that their beliefs, jokes or stories should be saved for off the clock, not when you’re busy. Whoever has the responsibility of responding to reviews seems kind, but from what I’ve seen, none of the promises they make change anything. I don’t want to hear it. Change. It is dirty and unprofessional. I am appalled. Will not be returning despite the gorgeous view.

We parked our boat at the dock and came in for a quick to go order of chicken quesadillas. They were hot and delicious! The atmosphere seemed fun so we'll definitely come back.

I don’t often leave reviews, but these pulled pork tacos were amazing!! I also highly recommend the salsa that comes with the chips. So good! Annnnd we sat out on the deck and watched jet skis/boats go in and out while we ate. Dinner and a show!
