“We were having a horrible day on our 31st anniversary and our waitress Abby turned it all around. Excellent service, and great food. My husband had the house salad followed by the special, ribeye with leek butter-delicious, I had the onion soup with tenderloins with demi glacé. The crème brûlée finished an amazing meal. Good ambiance and fast service”

“There are several pizza options around and after tonight Papa K’s will be at the top of my list. Excellent “pizza pocket” and the normal pizza is pretty great as well. We also got some chicken strips, which were pretty decent.”

“We had our wedding at the Lakeview Hotel at Shanty Creek and it was absolutely beautiful! Our coordinator, Amber, was fantastic and kept everything moving as we’re were planning the wedding and during the wedding itself! Great food, friendly staff, and overall a positive experience. “First time eating there this weekend. All you can eat fish Friday. Was pretty tasty, and the bread!!! Sarah was fantastic! Saturday- the Smothered Bull, the Rueben Fries, and the Riblets-delicious BBQ sauce- all were fabulous! Loved the Honeycrisp Cider. Megan was awesome! We don’t come up to Bellaire very often, but when we do next, we will be back to Toonies!”

“Ruthann’s did the cake and cupcakes for my wedding this past weekend and they were absolutely phenomenal! The cake is so moist and the buttercream is so airy. It’s not overly sweet either which I really liked. The cake was designed beautifully and everyone really loved the cupcakes. We even got coffee from them the day after, I am not a big coffee fan (especially hot) but it was really good too!”

“Good coffee selection with cute names! Breakfast bagels were DELICIOUS! The sausage patty was dang near a 1/2 inch thick! Their cinnamon roll was sinful! Will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.”
