Really nice inside and fun chalk outside for kids on the sidewalk. Great cherry coffee, donuts.

I love M-88 it’s one of my favorite cafe’s to go to!! The owner and people who work there are so nice and welcoming.

This place totally missed the mark today. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a lunch sandwich and they were cold and very poorly prepared. Lacked flavor and attention to prep, won’t order food here again, especially for the price of $22!

Rolled into M88 Café while cruising through Bellaire—aka the land of Subarus, second homes, and suspiciously well-dressed dogs. The coffee? Strong enough to jumpstart a tractor. The food? Tasty enough to make me question why I even try cooking at home.

The staff were so pleasant I started wondering if I’d wandered into a Hallmark movie. They smiled, they chatted, and they didn’t judge me for ordering two breakfasts “for a friend” (spoiler: there was no friend).

Prices are what you'd expect in a charming little town where even the squirrels probably have savings accounts, but totally fair for the quality.

Highly recommend if you like good vibes, good food, and coffee that slaps harder than a screen door in a Michigan windstorm.

Love visiting this coffee shop when we are visiting in Central Lake... Worth the drive. Great food and coffee! Love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly. Very reasonably priced compared to chain coffee joints.

A true gem. Coffee was delicious.

My son enjoys his “donut walk” and the owners and their staff are always so sweet! Irish cream cold brew with the cold foam is absolutely delish.

“Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. And you know I’m being serious, because I eat a lot of cinnamon rolls. Nothing like it. We should leave a 5-star review.” — My partner

We went here every day for 5 days in a row for coffees and cinnamon rolls, 6/5 stars.

Surprisingly spacious coffee shop with an impressive variety of coffees, quiches, sandwiches, doughnuts, and seasonal items. They also sell nature and wildlife themed framed photographs from local artists inside. I was pleasantly surprised M88 also uses recycled material napkins and cups. Service, food, and coffee were all very good on our vacation.

I most say, I was thoroughly disappointed in the “three cheese and bacon” quiche. It was more a bland quiche blessed with cheese on the very top, and graced with the hint of potential bacon bits on the bottom.. no flavor otherwise. The Coffee was watered down and way over sweetened. The only part of our order that did taste good was the iced tea.
