Came in for a part of my sister’s bachelorette party and honestly had a pretty bad experience. Our server was very rude to our family, didn’t say hello or introduce himself, walked away in the middle of talking to him, very short with responses, kept walking back to the server station, and saying something to other servers and then all of them glaring at our table. He also charged us for 5 ranches when we only received 3 after ordering 2 pizzas with appetizers and drinks. I understand our group was a little chaotic/excited but to treat us so poorly was crazy. Very disappointing since we were so excited to try this place

I have been a patron at Shorts for more than 15 years. The beer is the only reason I didn’t give this a 1 star. The food has truly taken a nose dive. Stay away from the kids menu, it’s like eating cardboard with no seasoning. The pizza used to be made with delicacy and quality, that’s 5 years ago. The food is all over priced as well. The beer can’t be beat, but stay away from the food to avoid ruining your experience.

Ate on the patio which is order your drinks from and pay at the bar, go find a table outside and order by QR code and they bring it out to you. The food was good and the wait was acceptable but when they bring your food, you get NOTHING with it. No utensils, napkins, not even plates when you’re sharing a pizza. That’s is also self serve, you have to go inside and grab those yourself. I mean, I get the whole self service thing, but if they are bringing your food, can they at least bring you the minimum necessity items to eat it with? This makes you leave your food outside while you go inside and fetch what you need to eat it.

Shorts makes me wish Bellaire was closer to home, because I love coming here. The pizza and sandwiches are delicious here! Definitely a great spot for grabbing lunch or dinner with a few friends.

I sincerely have never had such terrible service as we did this weekend. Extremely rude server who dumped water (accidently) on one of the group, didn't apologize, and then rolled his eyes at us when we asked to put two bills into one. THEN he quite literally threw the checks down on the tablet at us in a heap - instead of just handing them to us. Wouldn't recommend anyone go

I must be honest. Huma Lupa Licious is my FAVORITE BEER. So I'm a little biased. We had an opportunity to visit the restaurant recently and I am glad to write this review. What's most interesting about this place is it's in the middle of nowhere but the restaurant was full. On a Sunday! Staff was friendly. Food was above average but not outstanding. Beer was THE BEST!!!

Order lunch boxes to take on boating adventure. Super yummy sandwiches. Very generous portions. Fresh and delicious!
