One of the best bakeries in the Van Buren/Sumpter area. They have so much to choose from. Cookies, cannoli, brownies, donuts, etc. My husband got the apple bismark and he won't stop talking about how good it was. They put chunks of apple in the filling and it has just enough filling so it wasn't spilling out and didnt feel like too little. We also got the gingersnap and everything cookies. I've been to alot of bakeries in michigan because my job moves me all over and I love sweets lol. With that being said this place possibly has some of the best sweets I've ever had. The only other place i can argue that contends with them is Donna's Donuts in Flint.

I found the Bake Shoppe by accident and it was truly a sweet surprise. It’s one of those wonderful Mom & Pop originals where quality and character stand out. Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious. The colossal cherry chocolate cupcake was my favorite. 🧁
