Started going to Hidalgo in 2017 , quality and service was great back then , had an old school vibe , would eat there almost every day with my coworker and continued to go back with family for dinner at night. I decided to try again after years of not going back due to being over charged in the past and wondering how often it really happened ,this time ordered 2 (tiny) margaritas , chips and queso to go . $45.00 seems a bit steep for this “snack” . Very disappointing...
This is a great hidden gem. The food was high quality and the price point was excellent. The service wasn't polished like a fancy eatery, but that's not what you want in a place like this. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable and there to meet any needs. I would highly recommend this place if you want great food, good service, and a great overall experience.
Just found this place recently thru an online Gluten free blogger. I am medically Gluten intolerant. There aren't many places around me that I trust for 1)my health and safety,and 2) fantastic food! Hidalgo's staff put me at ease with their knowledge about minimizing cross contamination. Everything I've tried there has been excellent. Took non GF people there too and everyone left happy!! Highly recommend!
