Neighborhood feel restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. The margarita was good and they have a nice beer selection. The menu has something for everyone. The Combination plate is a good way to sample. Very delicious.
Started going to Hidalgo in 2017 , quality and service was great back then , had an old school vibe , would eat there almost every day with my coworker and continued to go back with family for dinner at night. I decided to try again after years of not going back due to being over charged in the past and wondering how often it really happened ,this time ordered 2 (tiny) margaritas , chips and queso to go . $45.00 seems a bit steep for this “snack” . Very disappointing...
This is a great hidden gem. The food was high quality and the price point was excellent. The service wasn't polished like a fancy eatery, but that's not what you want in a place like this. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable and there to meet any needs. I would highly recommend this place if you want great food, good service, and a great overall experience.
