Ordered three sandwiches. One was rung up wrong. It was a Reuben had nothing on it! The manager didn't want to make a fresh sandwich and wanted to take the one my husband had bit into and add the toppings! This is a health code violation and now we all have been throwing up and so sick!
Food and service is very good. #4 Sam’s cheesesteak was delicious. First time here I will definitely be back.

This place is seriously expensive for what it is. The young lady that helped me was nice, however after being told it was the first time being there she offered no recommendation. The food was’t even average, sadly, fry’s were soft and soggy, and the “papa” was not anything special. Sucks because I really wanted to try this place when I got here two weeks ago. Total let down.

Used to stop in here all the time but they’ve double charged my card twice now and the food is still overpriced. $20 a person and you order standing up.

The food was fine the location's fine I just have to complain about the corned beef sandwich that they have on their menu The corned beef sandwich shows it with sauerkraut or coleslaw on there that's not what the corned beef sandwich comes with The image is false false advertising that is not the corned beef sandwich shown in the image of the corned beef sandwich number 10 You can add items to it to make the image appear that way but that is not the corned beef sandwich not a really big deal just saying

Tip prompting for take out order -1 star, over priced for quantity of food -1 star, everything else was alright. Would be a 5/10 if that was the rating or directly between 2-3 stars here.
The one kind of funny positive about this place was the music they were playing.
We ate here for lunch on June 15 on the way back to IL. The young african american woman working the register was really nice and smiling and explained the menu well. We dined in and asked here if my son can eat his coney dogs that we bought from Leo's Coney Island a little north of Lefty's and she said of course which was great. My wife and I and daugther shared two cheeseteaks and loved them. Definitely would stop here again.

My son and I were traveling through Detroit, and we always like a good cheesesteak sandwich, so we decided to stop here.They offered a number of sandwiches. Most of them featured steak or chicken, but they also offered corned beef, brisket and other options.We both ordered 8” Sam’s Cheesesteak sandwiches (#4 on the menu) and really enjoyed them. There was plenty of meat and cheese, plus the buns were super soft. The menu states that this sandwich had cheese sauce, which my son had them remove. On the checkout screen, it said, “Nacho cheese,” but I didn’t find it spicy at all.There isn’t a whole lot of seating in the restaurant, maybe 10-12 tables. But it wasn’t busy while we were eating, so we didn’t have trouble finding a place to sit.Lefty’s is sandwiched between QDOBA and Starbucks (technically between a vision place and AT&T), so parking might be tight if all the restaurants are busy.We both recommend Lefty’s and will probably be back if we’re in the area again.

Today i got another cheese steak from this location!! Ate it on the run. Noticed the sandwich was very dry and onions were not tasty ate all and very chewy!! I called and spoke with mike! He was extremely understanding and appoligized several times! Advised me to bring it back and i did. He was extremely professional and made me another one which was MUCH better!! Professionalism at it’s best!!! Thank you mike!!!!

First time trying Lefty’s. The Buffalo bone-in Wings were delicious, and a good size too. Cooked to perfection. Cajun curly fries were on point. Bought a Big Poppa Hoagie for later and it was incredible. Will definitely be making this one of my go-to spots for lunch and dinner! I’m mad at myself that it has been here all this time and I’m just now trying it out…

The food here has been decent in the past but I’m confused on what time they close? Called right at 8:40 no answer on the phone. Called again, was told they stopped taking phone orders at 8:45. I’m at the hotel around the corner so I quickly get over there, walk in at 8:51 with people still eating and an open sign on in the window. Was told they stopped taking orders. So does Lefty’s close at 8:40 or 9?
