We stopped by this new-to-us spot for an early dinner & had a great experience. Delicious food (can recommend their salmon with risotto and a burger with fries), good drinks, great service, & gorgeous outdoor views. We will definitely be back.

Went here for brunch on St Patrick's Day. Quite busy.Really nice place. I like the decor.A friend of my wife and I was playing with a group of Irish music.I got the Cuban sandwich which was very good.My wife got the corned beef hash and she really liked it.She also got a drink. It was mead and had some flowery stuff as a taste. I think roses. She loved it.Minor complaints- it took about 10 minutes before anyone really acknowledged the group of us waiting to be seated and a long time to get our food once we ordered. And the fries I got seemed to be the bottom of what was left of the current batch. About 73.5% of them were about an inch long, but they were good fries.Just really short.

Tried Archival Brewing for the first time. The beers were very good but a bit disappointed with managements handling of our Hop Passport. Since it was our first time, we decided to do flights to sample as many beers as we could. We got 2 flights. When we went to pay, we gave them our Hop Passport. The waiter stamped the appropriate brewery and then said there is no discounts on flights, just pints. He could see I was not happy so he went to "talk to the manager". He came back and said they could only give us a $1.00 discount. Had I known that they would not honor our flights as purchases I would not have given my Hop Passport and used it another time. I know it's normally used for pints but several other breweries have honored flights. Giving it a low review just so that Management will see this

What a great experience at Archival. Friday night, party of 6. We were able to get a reservation for 5:45pm. The live music was really good. The place was hopping. Everyone was having fun! Our server Meg was was amazing. So friendly available and helpful making decisions because all the food sounded so good. The fried mushrooms and calamari apps were perfectly deep fried. Our favorite meals were the nachos and the quesadilla. But everything was ?. Can’t wait to visit when the weather is warmer and we can visit the outside area…it’s huge. The dogs will love it too!!

Our group's initial visit to this establishment proved disappointing, leading us to advise against it. We encountered several issues: the mimosas were overly simplistic, resembling plain orange juice, and our request to omit anchovies from the Caesar salad was met with the revelation that it was pre-mixed in the dressing, offering limited alternatives. Additionally, the chicken and waffles was excessively charred, comparable to the taste of burnt popcorn. Considering the lengthy wait for our meals, despite the restaurant not being crowded, we decided not to request a remake, which would have further extended our wait. The lack of attention to detail was also evident in the staff's casual demeanor, exemplified by the bartender's choice of wearing sunglasses inside the restaurant, which contributed to a subpar service experience. Our check for two people was over $60 which is outrageous for the quality we received. Has great potential but definitely room for improvement.

I really wish I could say I had a positive experience here as I had heard so many good things and the food was overall good, however our service left everything to be desired.Me and my wife felt invisible to our server, they had completely forgotten her drink until she asked about it again 45 minutes later, the amount of time it took for our appetizers to arrive only to have our entrees arrive 2 minutes later. Our server only seemed to have time for large groups and not us. I’ve worked the service industry in one capacity or another for quite some time and this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. If you are a large group of people I’m sure you’ll have a great time if you are a couple on a date do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Another good experience. Food and beer are different than most places. Which is a good thing. Meghan R was our server today and despite a packed house she was attentive and pleasant.

These folks do a nice job, ESPECIALLY with the beer. Rock solid selection in all types of beer and I'd call it a can't miss location for beer lovers. The food is good but not great yet. i believe they have a chef and the menu changes every time we go there, but just lacks consistency right now. Very good service and excellent atmosphere overall. 4 stars and climbing....

We had the Michigan pasty, hand cut fries ,veggie tacos and caesar salad. All were excellent with ambiance and a view. The beer was tasty, the service was pleasant and the pricing was reasonable. Definately going back. Well, we came back in July. Incredible. I had the Lamb barbacoa tacos which were unforgettable. My wife and daughter had the black bean burger and they were very happy. We also had the hand cut fries which were delicious. The server was friendly and knowledgeable and let us know they were distributing all the way up to the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island to their 7 restaurants because their beer uses historic recipees. Great beers by the way (Fritz's Folly IPA and a Krolsh). This place has craft beer, craft food with an awesome view and nice folks. Our new favorite destination. Hope they stay that way. Keep up the good work!!Had lunch a couple more times since and still an amazing experience. The Mahi Tacos were amazing and loved the Brussel sprout salad. Spoke to Levi (owner) to compliment him on the great experience that they offer there. He says they have a great team in every department and it shows. Love this place!
