Badly needed some good, fresh food and for once social media had told me something useful. Grabbed a chicken and rice bowl and some naan (and a soda the owner kindly offered) and frankly I demolished it. The rice picks up great flavor, the chicken was perfect, and the veggies crisp. Down with Sysco reseller kitchens and up with more of these guys. 👍👍
We stopped in for lunch after a stay in the area and loved the chicken and brisket rice bowls! Hard to find fresh options for a quick lunch and this was so good! If you're in the area definitely add The Eatery to your list of places to eat, you won't be disappointed!
The Eatery makes you feel great. First of all- you just walk up and you order a chicken bowl. You can order something else another time. First time there? Keep it simple — get the Chicken Bowl. Chris will take it from there. He’ll make sure you get a positive conversation and a glass of water for the 75 seconds that you’ll wait while the best summer meal in all of Northern Michigan is being prepared for you, FRESH.
