I fly from Orlando fla on an annual trip with Dad () and this will always be my favorite stop in upper Michigan. They take care of ya daily; their Italian beef never disappoints and its a great midday stop for a beverage n a beef. Come hungry, leave happy!
Charlie is the best bartender in the whole UP. If you like your cold drinks to stay full he's the man. Such a great bartender. knows anything you need to know about the area and will give you the honest truth. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for the great experience.

We visited Gogebic lake with 4 of our friends for the week. Walked into the Bergland bay bar and they all opened up to us and welcomed us though we had been there before. We played the jukebox asked for requests and even got locals to dance with us. The bar maid was awesome at making sure we got drinks and food yet taking care of regulars.
