A hotdog sounds good on a cold day like today. It's now called Casa Amado Taqueria now. Ordered a vegan Sonoran atomic dawg, a regular Sonoran atomic dawg, chicken quesadilla, 2 chipotle chicken tacos, mushroom taco, chips and salsa and a side of guacamole. Some good soft GF buns would make it less gluttonous and better for me too. The chips were fresh and crunchy, a tad greasy. The green salsa verde is spicier than the smoky red salsa. The red salsa is quite thick. I preferred the salsa verde best. The guacamole is good. The chipotle chicken tacos was okay. The mushroom taco was decent as well, both could use an amp up of more sauce or different texture profiles. The quesadilla was okay, nice and cheesy, more chicken distribution would have made it nice for each bite. Mu hubby enjoyed his Sonoran atomic dawg. My vegan dawg wasn't too bad, would have liked another bacon substitute, maybe some crispy shiitake? Open for dine-in until 8pm. Some seats in the front room. More tables upstairs and another back room too. Service is good. Staff are friendly.

Currently sitting in the parking lot, frustrated that I drove all the way here, just for them to be closed for renovation. Would have been great if they changed the business hours during the down time, so people don’t waste their time driving all the way here in traffic just to be turned away. Normally would give a 5 star review, as the food is absolutely fantastic.

After hearing great things, I decided to try Atomic Dawg for lunch one day. The food turned out great and service was super fast. I was also very impressed with how responsible they are during this time of social distancing. It's not a very large place, so they make the customers feel safe by spacing out their orders and offering to deliver your food to your car. I'll definitely be returning.

My fiance and I are new to Berkley and decided to give Atomic Dawg a try for lunch! I ordered the Swanky Franky and he ordered The D - both were delicious. The ordering/carry out process was also quick and easy. We will definitely be back

Great covid protocols. Pick up outside so minimal contact. Super fast and the food was delicious! Got 2 swanky frankies (1 without the lava cheese), the D, and the Russian. Also got chicago slips. Everything was fresh and hot. Their menu is a bit slimmed down with covid, but overall they are absolutely amazing!

We ordered carry out from the Atomic Dawg at work. I had the "D". It had a lovely flavor and that nice snap that a good hot dog should have. I also ordered the homemade chips. Sooo good!
