I don't like eating in my car but I LOVE eating at the drive-up A&W in Berkley. Most of the time I park and order/eat at the small tables on the west side of the building. Typically I get the Papa Burger and a foot long hot dog. I ALWAYS get a mug of root beer. There is nothing quite like a tall, ice-cold mug of A&W root beer straight out of the tap. I think it is the cane sugar which tastes like my childhood. It never disappoints and always delivers on good feelings. If you see a guy munching on a burger in one hand and frosty mug of root beer in the other next to a motorcycle parked out front - that's me!
DELICIOUS!! We had a couple large A&W Root Beer Floats and split a foot long chili dog and fries. Can you believe it was only $3.99 for a large, holy cow, that's a bargain. Awesome food, friendly and fast service, just a wonderful feel and vibe. Go check them out.
