this is the best bakery in the state! my family and i have been coming here for years and the cakes and cupcakes never disappoint. the staff are always super friendly and accommodating and the buttercream frosting with chocolate ganache is to die for. next time you're craving sweats come check out their display or do a custom order!

Stopped in to get a birthday cake for myself, ended up leaving with 6 cupcakes a parfait I was given a cake pop because it was my birthday! The strawberry cheesecake crunch cupcake and caramel pecan cupcake are to die for!
I love the delicious confectionery that this black owned bakery offers, even if slightly over priced with the increased inflation. Here my issue, they open at 11am and it's 11:13am and I have been since 10:44am for them to open! What kind of a business knowingly keeps customers waiting! Not sure I will ever come back

Never paid 20 for 4 cupcakes that1. Didn't have frosting in the middle and almost as much or as little on top. I mean if I'm gonna gain 5lbs from a cupcake it should be worth it..2. So far 2 of the 4 were dry. More frosting might've helped but I doubt it. Tasted 2-3 maybe 4 days old.. Kroger & Meijer are both better in price & quality!!3. Customer service sucked. The lady at the counter got so frazzled if more than 1 customer was in there. Guy in back should've helped her especially if he's the owner..4. Confusing menu this cake slice is this price that cake slice there is this price.5. Definitely won't go back. Not only a waste of money but service was so slow I wasted 20 minutes of my time too.. Only 1 person besides me.Surprised people pay their prices considering the quality of their product.

First, there were warm cupcakes placed into the display case as we pulled up. Enough said! The helpful counter attendant explained it was Tuesday which meant the cupcakes were 2 for $6. She then began to chronicle each of the delectable confections. Finally decision time. The lemon cheesecake cupcake delivered, absolutely lemony scrumptious but the chocolate fudge brownie cupcake was smooth, dark, and the unexpected fudge pudding center was delicious. The $6 cupcakes is the best "2 for Tuesday" experience in Metro Detroit❣OAN the pound cake disappears like magic, soooo worth it?

First time here and I was absolutely turned off by the older woman who assisted me not wearing gloves and touching the cupcakes with bare hands to put in the container. She did this while wearing a mask so surely gloves should have been worn as well. I probably wouldn’t return if this is how they handle food.
I came across this bakery while in Oak Park today so I decided to stop in. I was impressed with how clean and nice it was, and the variety of sweets. Ms. Lisa helped me and she was patient and full of information! I’m a journalist so I’m always full of questions LOL! But she was able to answer all of them.I got an OMG brownie and a red velvet cupcake. The brownie was good but I wasn’t too pleased with the cupcake. It tasted more so store bought than freshly baked. I’ll stop in again next time I’m in the area and try something else off the menu.

Spotless shop. Sweetest staff. Absolutely DELICIOUS chocolate cake. I took home the big cake for 7 of us and we each had a double slice and there was plenty left over for today. So good, moist cake and deep chocolate flavor. Outstanding!! Also Lisa Ds makes toffee popcorn and is sold there too!!

Great desserts!! Check out the German Chocolate brownies (or any other brownies or bars). The chocolate covered pretzels look great for kids.
