Great Indian food. Seems like the main difference in the "British Indian Food" is that it’s heavier crème focused. It’s a slight variation…over very enjoyable and reasonable prices too.

When dining in, the atmosphere is too quiet so everyone sitting around us can here our conversation - turn on some Indian music. Also, we can never seem to get the waiter to come back and bring us our check - then wait even longer for them to bring back my credit card.

One of our favorite Indian places to go. The service was excellent. The staff is incredible, attentive, and welcome. The place is very clean, and the ambiance was nice as well. The food is delicious. It's flavorful and fragrant. There's acid, heat, spice, and salt. I love how you can customize the spice level, and even when it's really spicy, you can still taste the other spices. The Peshwari naan is perfect for a side when you order a very spicy curry. It's reasonably priced, too. I keep coming back and will continue to come back.

I have been seeking out Indian restaurants for decades. This is not a menu that you want to miss! I think it's the best Indian food overall that I've had here, in other states, or internationally. Do not skip the veggie samosas, they are heaven. Wow. I recommend other dishes too, but they weren't available above to select. Yum! We've tried about a dozen dishes I think, and nothing disappoints. A rare gem in Berkley.Vegetarian options: I love having so many options in one restaurant! Amazing, flavorful, varied, delicious vegetarian dishes that are probably all the best version of each dish, that I've ever had. Amazing.

Ever wanted to have that 'it' place to go, that has charm to go along with some serious, wonderful food... this is it. Nawab British Indian Cuisine can stand alone on their delicious food... but sitting in their minimally designed restaurant that was more than full with authentic personality from staff, you know you've found a gem. My wife and I LOVE this place... go experience it for yourself!
Service was attentive and wonderful. I just struggled to find a dish I would order again. Listing indicated they were open at 11:30. Arriving at noon as the only customer, I had to wait for cleaning to finish. Several staples, like naan, were not yet ready. They also need a lunch-focused menu.

Very good. We got a doordash on New Year's eve, and it arrived hot and on time. Ordered a butter chicken, which was good - very sweet, not very spicy, and a vegetable curry which was spicy and delicious. Portions were a little on the small size, naan was very good, but there was no raita on the menu, and my note to include some was ignored. Has potential but there are better options I think. Probably better in person, they don't seem great at the Doordash game.

What a treat! Ordered carry out for two and tried the veg samosas as an appetizer and veg curry and veg biryani for dinner. Everything was so well packed and absolutely delicious. Beautiful large portions, we had leftovers for lunch the next day and another dinner!I’d like to go back soon and eat inside, the atmosphere seemed cozy and charming. Easy parking, very clean inside and super sweet staff at checkout. We are big fans!!

This was our first time trying our newer local Indian place… I cannot tell you how impressed and satisfied we were! Our three items were all so fresh-tasting, flavorful, rich, and delicious! The portions were so ample… I could not believe how much food we received for a mere $31! The employee answering the phone was so friendly, and very good with suggestions (get the appetizer mix, please!), and the person at the restaurant – he may have been the same man – was so grateful And congenial and appreciative of our business. I am so looking forward to returning and trying something new! My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our scrumptious Indian food today-and we will tomorrow, as well, as there are plenty of leftovers! I can’t recommend this gem on 12 Mile in Berkley enough!Vegetarian options: Loooooved their saag paneer!!!!

Just enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Nawab! Impeccable service, lovely atmosphere, and amazing food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and extremely polite. We started with vegetable samosas- beautifully presented and delicious. We also tried the chicken vindaloo and butter chicken. Both were flavorful (we went mild+) and comforting. The butter chicken was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Even their naan was excellent. This place deserves all the love! We wish we could give 6 stars for, truly, the best Indian cuisine we’ve ever had. We’ll be back… and often!

We found this hole in the wall Indian restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and authentic British Indian cuisine. The lamb tikka Masala was creamy, tender and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth it…..you will not be disappointed!
