Tried this place for the first time today! Rider was my server and he was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable funny and sweet. Genuinely had such a good time just being in his presence and he was very attentive! Tried the flaming fig, although without the jam. Didn't personally find it too spicy without the jam, although my friend found it slightly spicy with the jam. Either way it was the most delicious grilled cheese ever. Great wine selection, and don't be afraid to try the espresso drink made with blood orange soda, it was very good! On the store side of things, there was a great selection of product and the service was great. Will definitely tell as many people as possible about this place and will come again!

I was skeptical of this place as a pescatarian , but there were plenty of things to eat. The whitefish was outstanding, and the portion was so large that we shared it, along with sharing a Caesar salad and pretty potatoes, which were pretty amazing. We also had great appetizers And wine. We were there with another couple and stayed three hours. Highly recommend

Ambience is warm and inviting, temperature in the room not freezing, and noise level like any restaurant where people are happy. The dinner food is exactly what it says it is, and it is all so good, so well prepared, so fresh and tasty! Service was phenomenal. Izzy took wonderful care of my table, and Will, one of the owners, brought food, gave advice, and talked to customers at their tables. He cleaned off my table and offered aboxes and bags and small-talk; good interaction which made me curious and eager to hear more next time about the origin of the space. The wine list is very unusual for Michigan, including a beautiful Blanc de Blancs from Catalonia, Slovenian wine and a very special red, Porphyr, from Kellerei Terlan.
Overall, if you can go to The Rind, you should! I will be returning for dinner and lunch.
