I went here around the holidays with family, and the food blew us all away! I live in the Bay, where there's lots of great restaurants, and I was missing those on this trip until I found this hidden gem.The service was friendly and fun. They were knowledgeable without taking themselves too seriously. It's the kind of community where you can (and we did) chat up the folks at the table next to you while you enjoy a great cocktail in a dimly lit, cozy bar.Stop by the shop after and grab a few things. I don't even like olives, and I loved the olive bread. The chocolate covered figs were also incredible. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Michigan.

I love this place! It's our new favorite go to spot! The combination of great food, drinks, and staff makes it a solid choice every time. If you're looking for a fully stocked bar this isn't that. This has a good selection of wine, beer, and a few cocktails that pair perfectly with the food they serve.We never leave here disappointed! The food is always amazing, far better than quite a few other more expensive restaurants in the Detroit area. My only complaint is that it's not open 7 days a week :P.

Highly recommend this hidden gem. The decor is intimate, but casual and welcoming at the same time. Not at all intimidating for someone like me that doesn’t know all of the types of meats and cheeses and usually buys my wine at Target. ? Jeff was so friendly and knowledgeable. This is my new favorite place for a date night or mom’s night out.

I had my birthday party here last week, and they did a phenomenal job. Everything looked beautiful, the lighting and decor was perfect, the staff was so friendly, prompt, and helpful. And the food - YUM. The trout was so, so good. These folks just know how to create a vibe. And, being connected to Mongers' is awesome for an event, because guests and browse the amazingly curated selection there, plus there's just a little extra room to spread out. Bravo!

Beautifully designed space, which is pretty spacious but also intimate at the same time - be sure to check out the cow wallpaper in the bathroom, fun custom touch. Vibes are great! Staff & owners are super friendly. Lots of drink options. The trout and chicken are a must eat, delicious!!! (moist and flavorful, with crispy skins - portions are big enough to share, but you won't want to) They pair nicely with the many of the salad/charcuterie board options. And be sure to visit the Mongers' Provisions store next door, and end your evening with super yummy chocolate-coated Figs ;)Parking: Tons of free parking in the back, also some free street parking available, super easy and hassle free!

The Tunisian olive oil cake was moist, dense, and, delicious. Would highly recommend! The Berkeley Fog (Earl Grey infused) and Second Wind (cinnamon espresso martini) were both delicious!Vegetarian options: Delicious fish, cheese plates, salads, potatoes

We have been customers of Mongers for few years. We walked into Mongers to pick up some wine and cheese and ended up having dinner at Rind that is connected. Do yourself a favor and go! Great room, excellent service and top notch inventive, but approachable food. Great wine and drink list too! We built our own Chartucterie board, salads and wine. Also best restaurant playlist I’ve heard in a while - funky jazz, Latin, samba. Excellent vibes.
