“Went there off a whim and had a blast. Tiffany was very friendly and helpful. The ice wine was some of the best I ever tasted. Bit early in the year so it was chilly outside but would love to visit in the summer and enjoy the patio overlooking the lake.“
“Amazing wine! A great atmosphere and friendly staff. This is always a phenomenal stop. Their #1 Dry Red Reserve Selection is a perfect flight.“
“I tried a glass of their sparkling wine and was very happy with it. On warm days, Gravity stays pretty busy and their patio offers pleasant seating outdoors. The service at the bar was easy and friendly. It’s a good place to stop and try Michigan wine if you’re nearby.“
“Had my bachelorette party here for one of our winery stops. It was our first and it spoiled us. We had the owner, Adam, conducting our tasting and he and the other staff members were so kind, funny and welcoming. He even carried all of the wine my group bought to our car for us despite us being parked in the back corner of the parking lot. I will make this place a stop every time I come out this way. There was not a single wine in the tasting I didn’t like. Also bonus it’s veteran owned!“
“Had an amazing time at Red Top winery this weekend with a group of 50 people. The staff was amazing, extremely accommodating and very friendly! The place was spotless!! Inside the ac felt amazing on a 90 degree day and the outside was beautiful!!!! Can’t wait to go back! All of our guest that came with us found a wine or cider they really enjoyed!!! Thank you Red Top!!!!“
“An excellent place for dine dining. Great selections of appetizers. The wines are fantastic. The desserts are amazing. You have a view of the vineyard through the dining room windows. Ample parking for everyone. Every dish that was served to our party was well presented and delicious. We enjoyed the wines from the vineyard and had a good time toasting our friendships. A truly amazing experience for wine lovers in the area“

“First visit and we'll be back. It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive. The lady that took care of us knows their wines and zeroed in to my taste preference's quickly making some suggestions. Red wines from Michigan always seem to be a tad bit lacking in my opinion. Well, Free Run Cellars just blew my opinion out of the water. I did a flight of reds not expecting much and tried the Lemberger, Sangiovese Reserve and Meritage. All three were excellent but the Lemberger and Sangiovese Reserve were outstanding and would easily rate at a 92 to 93. I'd put these two up against reds from anywhere. I've been to wineries in France, Italy and all over the USA. If you're in to visiting wineries, I strongly recommend visiting Free Run Cellars and sampling their wines.“
