“We planned a party bus stop at Free Run Cellars for a birthday celebration. They were very responsive and helpful during the planning phase. When we arrived, the staff was ready for us. They decorated the winery, reserved seats for us and hooked up some locally sourced chocolates for the group. It was all smiles and we had a great time!”

“The service was great! The food was simple but cooked right, and paired with the correct dressings/dipping sauces. I don't know why people think that to be a "foodie" you need dishes with a million ingredients! This place does it right! The zucchini fries and homemade dip were delicious, my mom got a salmon salad that looked and tasted great, I got a BLT but now that I know they can really cook I'm going for the chicken cordon bleu next time. Reminds me of the Oaken Bucket in a sense because it's good honest simple but unique! Will be back!”

“Had breakfast this morning. When we walked in a sign on the door said prices were going up. No mention of how much. Went to pay, $2 was added to each meal we ordered. Food was good but pricey for seniors”

“We stopped by on our way through town because Mexican food sounded good. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly staff. The salsa was incredible and all the food we ordered was delicious. Our server made a genuine effort to engage us in conversation and showed genuine interest in what we talked about. The only negative thing I can say is that Melendez Imports is too far away from home to eat there in a regular basis.”

“These were amazing! The “pizza” was huge and will literally be four meals! The torta was big and juicy! Our 9 year old got the quesadilla and when made to try it with the consume demanded his own little cup! We’ll definitely eat here again!”

“I am a volunteer sorting craft items and am amazed almost every time by the neat craft things we receive and get to put out for sale. Fabric, yarn, craft kits, scrapbooking albums, tools, paper and more!! Recently there were a whole collection of stamping ink pads in so many different colors. And it is a THEIFT store so the prices are well below retail. Also you never know what you will find so come often!”

“Out and about we got a craving for an icee. Machines were down at every station we stopped. Had almost given up when we stopped here for gas. To our surprise, every machine was operational. Definitely hit the spot. The lady at the checkout, shorter blond woman, was rocking it. It was pretty busy and she kept her cool and took care of business. There was some confusion about the price of something we got but she made it right and we left in high spirits and feeling good about humanity again. I'd give this place 10 stars 🤩”

“Good food. Not sure if it's because I usually stop by on the weekend or later in the evening, but there's usually something out of stock though. Last time it was some meat, the time before that (months ago) it was the Italian herbs bread.

You're better off going to Baguette, but this Subway is a perfectly okay sandwich place for Saturdays or any other day Baguette is closed.”

I told them I wanted so fresh that they burned me. the guy laughed in the mic and made a stupid joke. when I got to the window he continued to laugh at me and told me everyone was laughing at me. when I got my fries they were not fresh. no oil was on the fries. they must of stuck them in the microwave. they tasted old as well.”

“The carne asada was tender and flavorful but not salty-perfectly made. The jalapeños are a beautiful touch to the tortas (had mine without sour cream and added mayo instead). Lastly, the fresh water (agua Fresca) was delicious and I was even given the option to mix lime & chia flavor with the cucumber lime flavor 🍋‍🟩. I will definitely be back to eat! “This restaurant is in a location which has been a gathering spot in Buchanan since 1947. Much of the original décor has been maintained but some parts of the interior have been modernized to satisfy current foods. The owners and staff are pleasant, aim to please and work hard. It is worth a stop for the ice cream at the soda fountain, if nothing else.”

“I haven't been here for quite awhile, maybe over 14 years ago, but I love the family feeling. You walk in and your treated like family. We had an awesome waiter Christina, who made you feel welcomed, didn't rush you and even joked around with the group. What really stood out is when you left , they made you feel genuinely appreciated for dining with them. Food was good, lots of options to choose from. If you are hungry the servings are a good size. We had to do to go containers.”
