We had the prime rib which was delicious! You HAVE to try the pinecones (fried tator things). The owner is so sweet and asked where we were visiting from. Great service!
Great Customer Service, grilled shrimp and pizza was absolutely amazing. Sam is such a fun, laid back waitress making you feel like your at home. Meeting the managers that take the time and sit down to chat with you.

Spent my birthday here a few years ago, had such warm memories. The night we went in was dark and snowy, the pub looked like a winter wonderland escape. The service, food, and drinks were phenomenal. Very sad to see you are closed - best wishes to you and yours in the future!
Black River Valley Pub is a cozy spot perfect after skiing. They serve a delicious Friday fish fry with grilled whitefish and fried cod. The pine cones are a must-try! The prime rib is also delicious. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and generous portions. The owners are welcoming and sweet, making all visitors feel at home.
