We did the sweetheart package for our guests and a smaller two-tier wedding cake that was shared between myself/husband and our wedding party of 11 people. Our wedding cake was a pressed wildflower design and Stephanie made it more beautifully than the likes of Pinterest has ever seen. I think the pictures speak for themselves but I can't thank Stephanie and Crystal City Confectionary for taking my wedding dessert ideas into a fully realized and unforgettable display.Stephanie used a mix of her own display pieces and some of mine and arranged seriously the prettiest dessert table I've ever seen. She also accommodated a couple desserts for a vegan guest and a guest with a tree nut allergy. One of my biggest regrets is not asking for one of every dessert to be put aside for myself for later after my nerves settled down. Only a few cupcakes were left at the end of the night and many people came up to me to tell me how wonderful the dessert was.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing these ideas to life and we are absolutely positive no one else could have accomplished a single detail better.

Stephanie was a pleasure to work with, as I assisted my son and daughter-in-law with their wedding cake selection. I was referred to Stephanie by another bakery from Northern Michigan who highly recommended Stephanie. We live 3 hours south in the southeastern area of Michigan, so initially it was a challenge finding a reputable baker. I must say, in addition to being delicious, Stephanie's artistry in baking was gorgeous, we received many compliments on the wedding cake and cupcakes from our guests (including our catering staff!). Right from my first call to Stephanie, she was most kind and gracious in answering all my questions and very professional. During each of our phone calls, text messages or emails, I was always created with kindness and professionalism. Her knowledge and expertise were invaluable to me! Stephanie encouraged my daughter-in-law to share her inspiration pictures. From the pictures she shared Stephanie created 100% of the cake and cupcakes designs with the jewel tone colors my daughter-in-law selected for their wedding. I ordered plenty of cupcakes to accompany the wedding cake, I only wished I had ordered more desserts for their wedding as Stephanie has so many options to offer to create an over-the-top dessert table for our guests. If I ever host an event in Northern Michigan I would whole-heartedly hire Stephanie again.

I reached out to Stephanie on short notice as we were in MI for vacation. It was my daughters birthday and as the hot mess I am I completely forgot to plan something for a cake. Stephanie was able to create cupcakes on very short notice. She not only delivered very high quality, visually pleasing, and a deliciously tasteful cupcake, she delivered great customer service. As an Italian, she is indeed invited to the picnic.

I did not use this vendor. However, my I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that attempted to use this vendor for her wedding cake. I felt compelled to leave a review because unfortunately, I had to listen to the owner of this company yell (it was disgusting) at a bride on her wedding day. It was so horrific to listen to that the mother of the groom had to take the phone from the bride.I know the owner will report and reply to this review stating the final payment was not made and she emailed the couple requesting payment, this is true. However, she used no other means of communication to attempt to reach the couple when the email was not replied to. Not even one phone call. Emails get lost, it was a simple mistake and The owner needed to attempt to correct. She had a $375 dollar deposit, obviously they wanted a cake. With all of that aside. The owner spoke to the bride in a way that is unprofessional and utterly wrong.

Stephanie was amazing and easy to work with, and everything was absolutely delicious as well as visually stunning. Even the grumpy uncle claimed it was the best wedding cake he had ever tasted! We are incredibly grateful that we chose her for our wedding, and highly recommend her!
