The Hungry Tummy is a Benzie County staple that also happens to have the best pizza around. The chicken taco salad is my current favorite, and the quesadilla is also very tasty! Good vibes, friendly staff, refreshingly unpretentious, I highly recommend! 🍕

Best damn pizza in Benzie. Could have better WiFi but it doesn't matter to them, people pack in here every day.

I have lived in the area for 61 years and have eaten at this restaurant more times than I can count. The last several years, the food and the service have gone extremely downhill. We ordered a 2 item medium pizza with ham and pineapple. The pineapple had zero flavor. Also ordered a beef wet burrito and there was only beans in it. I had to cook burger and put on it. And the bill was $33. Not going to be going there again the food has really gone downhill for some reason.

Friendly staff good selection of beers. It’s not a place you want to go for a nice dinner. Food was very average and deep fried is there a specialty. If you’re going there for a beer or drinks, not a bad choice.

Ordered pizza online for pick up. There was a text box to type special instructions..... asked for half of the pizza to have no onions, no mushrooms, no peppers. I guess the text box does not mean anything. I tried to ask about the order being half and half but it was pretty noisy and the young lady didnt hear me. One of us liked the pizza. One of us did not.

Beers are like $2, pizza was great, Philly cheesesteak was great, and the fried chicken was stellar. They also have TVs for sports and a little arcade and 2 pool tables

Pizza’s great but service continues to disappoint.

We’ve ordered from this place multiple times, and while the pizza is consistently delicious, the customer service is consistently poor.

This time, we called in an order for four XL pizzas and specifically asked for seasoned crusts. We tried to confirm the order multiple times on the phone, but the person taking the call was clearly overwhelmed rude, rushed, and ultimately just said “we got it” before abruptly hanging up. Unsurprisingly, none of the crusts were seasoned when we picked them up.

When we arrived to pick up the order, no one acknowledged us at the counter. I get that it was the fifth of July and probably a busy day, but that doesn’t excuse repeated poor service.

Bottom line: if you’re looking for solid pizza and don’t mind being ignored or talked down to, you’ll be fine. But if basic customer service matters to you, be prepared to be disappointed.

The interior is drab, the carpet is at least 30 years old. The food is nothing to write home about.
