I stopped by yesterday to purchase a pecan pie. There was an elderly couple in front of me. The employee offered them a sample of apple pie, which they did not accept kindly. They made their purchase and stepped aside to wait for their order. The SAME employee then asked if she could assist me. I placed a half a pecan pie along with a single slice of pecan pie on the counter and I said I’ll take these please. She didn’t offer me a sample and was not as courteous as she was with the elderly couple. In fact she simply took my Apple Pay said thank you, bagged up my items and turned away. She didn’t even hand me the bag! I made up my mind to NOT return.

I ordered online for pickup and my order was not ready, even though I arrived 20 mins later than my pickup window. The store employee yelled at me and called me rude for asking for my order as I was in a hurry. I get that she was alone in the store and busy, but I thought my order was put aside ready for pickup (it was not). I would hesitate to return to this store.

Best tasting pies I ordered through DoorDash ...it was awesome...I was trying to order something from Grand Traverse Pie company but to far for them to deliver...I'm glad they couldn't...Achatz is my go to pie place now!

It's alright. I like that they ask you if you want whipped cream on your pies because I hate whipped cream. The key lime and coconut cream pies were just alright. Nothing to write home about.

This is the most amazing pie place! The French Silk pie is my most favorite! Wish that they could ship this one as I can only get their pies when I visit Michigan. Their pies are always so fresh and amazing! Great job Achatz for always exceeding expectations!

Achatz bakery sell their homemade bake pies, fruit and cream), variety of cookies, frozen soups, and chicken pot pies.I love the soft molasses ? cookies. The eggnog is creamy good... even better mixed with a tinge of Rum!Customer service is friendly and accommodating. For example, the cashier poured melted carmel nuts topping over my crumbled apple pie slice. Awesome!Prices are high... but that is the cost of buying... homemade goods.
