One of the country's great restaurants. For more than 35 years, it's been consistently wonderful and welcoming. No matter what neighborhood you really call home, this is your best-possible neighborhood spot.
The food was excellent, the service however got off to a very slow start. We waited a long time to place our order, our waitress seemed to be ignoring us. Seriously, probably 10-15 minutes at least. Once our order was placed, the food was quick and a 2nd server was being attentive and helping us out more than our waitress. Not sure what that was about. It was pretty loud the entire time, not really relaxing.
