On January 7, 2026 went into subway birch run at 5pm. Ordered 2 footlong Italian herb & cheese subs. As the subs were being prepared he asked about the kind of cheese we wanted. My husband is allergic to cheese so I told the sandwich maker I would take my husband’s cheese, also American cheese. he told me he couldn’t do that. I asked for it to be put on the side then he said I couldn’t do that, it has to go on the sandwich. I pay for that cheese. I’m not understanding why I couldn’t have it. Then He asked if we wanted it toasted, told him yes. he brought them out then asked what sauce we wanted on it . told him we wanted our toppings on 1st. he told me we couldn’t do that. The sauce had to be put on 1st. Really! This is the 1st time we had ever had such a terrible experience at a subway. After his additude with the cheese & the way he wanted to make our sandwich we decided to just walk out. Will not return to that subway ever again.

Bread was hard and the worker told me that they didn't have mayo. Absolutely not worth the money. Not sure what happened as this Subway location used to have the freshest bread around.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Nobody in the store knows how to work the app. Nobody willing to help would recommend that Birch run subway go out of business.

Lady behind counter right away when I walked in it's going to be a 15 minute - some lady ordered bunch of sandwiches and the this was at 715pm in the evening on Tuesday night Coupon online you buy one get one for a dollar- well I didnt have the ad I just wanted to order my 2 subs and be on my way- 3 more customers came in no acknowledgement from anyone behind the counter- so I go to place my order - I order 2 BMTs minus pepperoni add ham or salami instead and she tells me we don't substitute - I asked when did this start as I come there pretty much everywhere and not once have I had a problem or charged for it she said that we don't substitute - so when did subway change from making your sub the way you want it - they need to start hiring people that care .because this lady had a very poor attitude..

What a great representation of the Subway company and the standards they set! The Birch Run store is small, but it is clean, friendly, and the quality is great! The store is located right off the interstate, so it is very accessible for travelers!

HAHA! Where to start with this place? Service - awful, a bunch of teenagers who are unsupervised and not properly trained on ANYTHING. There isn’t a review box big enough for me to go into detail. I got a sprinkling of onions, and asked for a few more and she said “no”. There were 2 customers ordering in front of me who appeared to be friends or family who I watched STEAL, the girls knew it too and looked at me like “oh crap did he see that?”. Some franchise owner is getting their butts taken advantage of right now. Be better of closing the place all together until you get some better help because these KIDS RUNNING THE PLACE AINT IT. AVOID AVOID AVOID

When i got to the location there was no choices for bread. The employees had friends hanging out in the lobby and handing stuff over the counter above food. One girl touched the fresh cooked bread with her bare hands. Flies everywhere and then messed up my order.

I can Not believe on a Saturday in Birch Run that they have 1 person working & mind u she was doin Amazing for the situation 👏 BUT I can Not deal with the fact that she was getting swallowed in business with online orders & in-store customers. 1PERSON!!!!! ON A SATURDAY!!! She even tried to call a manager for help to No answer 🙄 As well as another employee off the clock was also trying to call the management to NO Answer!! That is what is unacceptable 😤 Dakota did Amazing Management needs to schedule accordingly & Answer when ur team calls.

Ashley was horrible, mean rude and made my sub terrible. I asked for onions she puts a tiny amount and says she can't add more. This place will be out of business soon with her there. We used to visit here often on our way to Frankenmuth but never again. Steer clear from this place and Ashley.

She wouldn’t let me substitute one meat for the other, as i’ve been able to do it at every other store. She also didn’t ask me if i wanted a foot long or a 6” which i wanted a 6 inch, and she ended up making a footing. I felt bad already as they were packed, but it ended up being like $17 the way the rung it up
