Beautiful Dining experience! The atmosphere was lively and the service from Bachir was phenomenal
Had an early dinner reservation with a friend who had never been to 220 Merrill before. It was a quieter time, right before the dinner rush, and we were able to catch up without any large parties or excessive noise. We both ordered the salmon, which was some of the best fish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to medium, crispy on the outside, and it came with a sauce that perfectly complimented the potatoes and broccolini. Our server was Shannon, and he made sure we had everything we needed and also gave us the space to enjoy our dining experience. Every time we took a sip of water, there was another server going around, making sure our glasses were always full. I'm glad I could show my friend a new place, and we both agreed that we would be coming back so she could experience what it's like at night.
Just catching a quick meal before our movie. The food and atmosphere was good. However, our waitress didn't seem interested in waiting on us. Other employees were catching our social cues when we arrived and were ready to go and had to inform her that we were looking for her.
The food was absolutely amazing. We had great service and the overall vibe of the place was outstanding.
Service was great! Very nice atmosphere, and classy without being stuffy. Our food was overall very good, our omelette could have used a bit of seasoning, and something to brighten it up a bit, but that could be a matter of preference. I would definitely recommend eating here, the positives were way more notable than any negatives.
We ordered chicken parmesan, which was good (large portion)., I ordered the lamb shank. It was dry and terrible. They took it back and I ordered the Bronzino and that was delicious. They set us in a booth and it was right in front of a pole. We probably should've asked for a different table a little cozy too for four. Desserts were huge!!! I had the butter cookie dessert. It was kind of blah. My brother and his wife had the carrot cake and they said it was delicious.
Lauren was a good waitress. She made great recommendations and was pleasant. The ambiance is great. Food was great. Very pleasant experience.
Everything was wonderful except we asked for 4 different common bourbons then tequilas then finally beer and they didn't have any- all out of stock. Ended up drinking water with our fabulous dinner. Bar manager has to step up the game- super disappointing for a place of this caliber.
Good menu with great variety. Quality food and good service with nice convenience by the free parking deck for close proximity parking. Quite noisy in the restaurant but not so much so you could not carry on a conversation.
11/2025 - Drinks – 1/5: Not impressed with the Old Fashioned, and the Secrets cocktail tasted way too sweet and artificial for my liking. I wouldn’t come here just for the drinks.
Food – 3/5: The calamari and mac and cheese were pretty good, but the salmon didn’t measure up. On the bright side, portions were big and the food looked great.
Atmosphere & Service – 5/5: Loved the chic and welcoming vibe. Staff was super friendly and our food came out fast. Good spot for a quiet dinner if you’re short on options.
Heads up: The menu at the restaurant didn’t match what was posted online, and no one told us about happy hour even though we arrived at 5pm.

Very fancy and expensive restaurant! However, note that they do NOT serve Baked Alaska anymore even though it is there on their menu online which needs to be updated. People were nice and very nice interior. The Make A Wish Sundae was big and was delicious with the brownies and ice cream definitely tasting better than any grocery store ice cream I usually get.

Good food and good service. The server brought out a candle with our food to celebrate a couple of birthdays and was very respectful.
This is the 1st time I've experienced bad service at this restaurant. My guest and I had to ask for more water. We had to ask them to remove our dirty plates from the table. The food was good, but the service was awful. It's very obvious something has changed. Hopefully, the issues will be resolved soon.

The experience was just ok. I saw a bug on my table. I expected better from this place. As I had been many times before.
