Coffee, food and atmosphere are fine. However, I am not interested in hearing about the tragedy of climate change and how we're all going to die for five minutes when I'm just trying to order a drink and go about my day. Read the room. Also, if your employees are going to criticize customers for ordering a Diet Coke (because it's so "terrible" for you), stop carrying it.

Service as amazing, very friendly. Nice looking place awesome atmosphere. I ordered a large hot vanilla latte. It was bland, poorly textured.
I also ordered the AVO toast and out of 10+ places I’ve had it at, this one is by far the worst. 2 bites in and tossed it.
Maybe the other stuff on the menu is better…what a let down.

Extremely slow service, and poor attention to detail. I waited over 30 minutes for them to come out and tell me that they “entered my order wrong, and it will be out shortly”…even after a $5 tip….not quite an acceptable way of running a business. I’d avoid this place, unless you’re fine with sitting around for an hour to receive your food. Perhaps the way to go is to DoorDash an order here, as they seem to shuffle out the door a bit quicker than in person orders….

I was doordashing and stood in the designated spot and not ONE of the 4 young ladies on that end greeted me, looked my way, or anything. A man came in after me, and was taken care of IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! They ALL looked right past me. I wouldn't spend my money nor will I ever Doordash from there EVER!
This review is for the Royal Oak Roast only.
The road is full of as*holes , the world going to sh*t more and more. The people in charge care not at all and we are on a very possible path to doom. Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you.
Leave the stress behind and relax here with friends and future friends. You will be glad you came

Waited 30 mins for just an avocado toast and only got it after asking for an eta. When i received it, the food was ice cold like it was sitting for a while, i had an issue w my card and had to insert it a few times and the last time i accidentally hit no tip and while waiting i overheard the employees alluding to the fact that they will prioritize orders that tip as they can see when they do. So i feel like they purposely fulfilled other orders ahead of mine just because i didn’t tip on an $11 avocado toast. Not to mention the food wasn’t even great, tomatoes were cut about an inch thick and like i stated previously the egg i added on was ice cold to the touch.
