Serving people is no longer a business priority when the employees want to leave right on the dot. When you say your kitchen closes at 4pm that usually means they start closing at 4pm not we have been closed for 30 mins before. Unwilling to take of customers like this when you have a cafe full of people is precisely how you don’t last with the times. I’ll never come back to places that don’t value customer service like this spot. Best of luck.
Reply Edit; I got there 2 mins before 4pm. I have owned many businesses and when you have a customer show up a few mins before closing you accommodate that customer. At least if you want to survive. There is a reason why you don’t have a 4.9 star. Strive to be better not complacent. That’s the difference between a good business and a great business that will be around for a very long time. Do better.
Excellent customer service, coffee & craftsmanship is great, and in the warmer weather they have a nice outdoor patio. Parking can be tricky, but there is a parking structure across the street if need be.
I decided to stop at this one in Birmingham versus the one in Royal Oak since I was right here, so my honest opinion is that the honey Joy drink is so much better at Royal Oak. The young guy definitely did not mix my drink to the awesome taste and flavor I’m used to. Needless to said Royal Oak is the go to one for me! They put more into theirs making sure the taste is on point all ingredients. Maybe more training at the drink counter.
Don’t order from this place. I ordered my drink with cold foam and they didn’t put any and I ordered light sweetness and they made it sweeter.
Love the coffee and location
Very good and very cool venue. Im from NYC and a religious Starbucks patron, but the food options BH leave Starbucks in the dust. And it's not even close.
All glass walls and modern.
I wasn’t super impressed by this place unfortunately 🫠 they messed up my mom’s drink, and if she hadn’t asked to double check, she could have had some serious health issues. The matcha I got tasted watered down somehow. I even asked for an extra pump of their rose syrup and tasted little difference
The staff were very friendly and I will be coming back for food next time. It all looked very tasty

Coffee, food and atmosphere are fine. However, I am not interested in hearing about the tragedy of climate change and how we're all going to die for five minutes when I'm just trying to order a drink and go about my day. Read the room. Also, if your employees are going to criticize customers for ordering a Diet Coke (because it's so "terrible" for you), stop carrying it.

The coffee and service was great!
Best coffee in Birmingham!
Service as amazing, very friendly. Nice looking place awesome atmosphere. I ordered a large hot vanilla latte. It was bland, poorly textured.
I also ordered the AVO toast and out of 10+ places I’ve had it at, this one is by far the worst. 2 bites in and tossed it.
Maybe the other stuff on the menu is better…what a let down.

Extremely slow service, and poor attention to detail. I waited over 30 minutes for them to come out and tell me that they “entered my order wrong, and it will be out shortly”…even after a $5 tip….not quite an acceptable way of running a business. I’d avoid this place, unless you’re fine with sitting around for an hour to receive your food. Perhaps the way to go is to DoorDash an order here, as they seem to shuffle out the door a bit quicker than in person orders….
