Lovely hotel with an excellent atmosphere and vibe. Great location as well. Service at the bar could be improved but overall, a positive experience.

Fantastic salads; service was a little bumpy due to language barriers, but we managed.I was particularly grateful for the venue's flexibility in making reservations; there are several lovely options for private dining.

Food was great but service was lacking. I had dropped my napkin and our waiter picked it up and said he'd bring a new one however I has to ask for it 10 later when our food came. Couldn't find h for check when we were ready to leave.

We wanted the pastry plate to have with our coffee while waiting for breakfast. 20 minutes later, the pastry arrived (with breakfast) and the pastries were mediocre at best. Breakfast itself was good, but I had specifically asked for scrambled super soft and had to send the 1st batch back. 2nd time they got it right . The manager said there was a "snafu" in the kitchen. Other customers also were complaining about the long wait for their food. I will wait awhile before returning. They're still working out some issues. Oh, and for our trouble, the manager comped our coffees. Wow!

I thought hard on if I should give this place 4/5 or 5/5 - I’m going with 4.5/5. Overall -The ambiance and vibe is spectacular. The staff seemed happy to be there, which is always a good sign. A bit pricey compared to other spots in the area.Avo Toast - the elote gave it a unique flavor which I loved. Worth a try if you’re a fan.Chicken Sandwich - this stole the show for my friend, and he said it’s the best one he has had in recent times (better than the Morrie).Vanilla Latte - not too bad, was not very hot by the time it arrived to the table.Wine - the price was a bit extreme ($16) for a small glass. Hence subtracting .5 stars.I’ll be back to try the pastries. Plenty of space to sit and work from.

What happened Daxton Hotel? I went from having incredible visits with you guys to being completely embarrassed that I recommended and convinced someone to book a room for us last weekend. I, bragged up-and-down about the incredible service, how well appointed the hotel and rooms were, and all the amenities. Took us four phone calls and over an hour and 15 minutes to get ice. If you’re not going to have it available to guess you better have it alternative if your staff can’t handle something is similar as that. We booked a package that had an $80 breakfast credit included. and went into your restaurant on a Saturday morning and was told you didn’t have anyone to serve tables. Bing that we waited so long to get something as simple as ice the night before, the person that I was with did not want to wait, and we went and walked to Toast instead and had an incredible breakfast with awesome service instead. I am embarrassed and disgusted that I pushed so hard to get this person to book a room there for us, and all of the things I was excited to share with them were so sadly portrayed. The pantry on our floor was bare semblance of what I experienced and loved before. Another embarrassment. I don’t know what’s going on if it’s economic struggle, even the quality of your staff has dropped. But it looks like you got the ball rolling when you first opened up and now you are barely trying. Things happen, but after having wonderful visit with you and bragging so much about wonderful stays, and then to be embarrassed like this after convincing someone to spend their money there with me is that acceptable. It doesn’t feel good. You need to get your act together, Daxton Hotel
