Ok so, there is a lot to talk about here. Let's start with vibes, immaculate. Immediately warm staff and welcoming decor with legit tile patterns. Then, the high seats for the table are mad comfortable. 10/10 on comfortable cafe seating cause we have all been to those cafes where they punish you for sitting with hard uncomfortable chairs.
Got a ginger ale from the fridge and a ginger shot. That shot was homemade and thick and it burned. 10/10 ginger shot. They even asked for the glass so they could wash and reuse it. Quality and mindfulness. Loved it
Now, the food. Started with the chicken snack fries. Bro. Delish. Chicken was JUICY and flavorful and halal. Non-halal tastes all rubbery and traumatized, this was the opposite of that. 10/10 uncle on the grill It was nice to share and was a decent size but sharing meant room for more.
So next, PANCAKES! Bro. Crispy edges (very important) perfectly fluffy inside and just like the perfect pancake with syrup and jam and butter all included. Demolished them pancakes. Idk if it's the batter or the hands that made them but...10/10
Since it was a very visit and I needed more data I got 1 each of the handpies. Lamb Sfeeha, Cornish Beef and Chicken Pot Pie. The Lamb Sfeeha was delish and I'm bout to smash the chicken pot pie and it's after midnight and I'm tired so I will edit this review later with a update on the pie. I wonder what the score will be... edit it was a 10/10 perfectly flaky crust. Stuffed full and so flavorful

Ariel was so kind to us ! My best friend, niece and I had a wonderful experience here! Ariel took care of us and turned a hard day into a hopeful one not once, but twice. Between the hot chocolate, the ice creams we tried and the desserts we left satisfied in body and spirit! A true gift from God!

egregious pricing for breakfast food items. not very reasonable. just because you're in Birmingham doesn't mean you need to mark up a breakfast sandwich to $15. it's not like you're making the bacon while I'm there. it's just getting microwaved.

AMAZING espresso! The cappuccino is delicious! One of the best coffees I’ve ever had! The chocolate croissant is amazing. Cinnamon roll was not so good…especially for the price. I will definitely be back for the coffee!

We ordered a few coffee drinks and sat at the table directly across from the register. Like most places, the screen flipped for a tip, which I provided.
What surprised me was the service afterward. With only one other table of guests in the entire shop, the staff still carried my drinks all the way to the far counter by the entrance, called my name, and left them there, despite clearly seeing we were closer to them than the counter they walked to set the drinks on.
It wasn’t busy, so a simple gesture of walking the drinks to the nearby table would have made the experience much more welcoming. Instead, the drinks were set down and the staff quickly returned to their cell phones.
The coffee itself was actually good, but the lack of attentiveness stood out. A little more customer focus, especially when the shop isn’t crowded, would go a long way.
