Such a cute spot, one of the best gelato I’ve had. I got the honey toasted. Will come back to try more.

My favorite ice cream!! I wait for it to open in the summer for the delicious honey ice cream!! So delish and the alley is always so beautifully decorated.

I stopped in for the first time and tried the pistachio ice cream. This is easily one of the best pistachio ice creams I’ve ever had. Whether you’re a pistachio lover or just looking to try something new, this is a must-try. Highly recommend!!

The service is great, the vibe is good, and the ice cream is yummy! I recommend going here. I went once before and got the mango sorbet. It was light but had the perfect touch of sweetness. I also went a second time and got the vanilla bean ice cream with candied pecans and it was very delicious! The portions are also perfect!

Good gelato, friendly folks at the window, and a fun secret alleyway location! They’ve dressed it up with nice leafy planters and comfy chairs so it’s a good hangout spot to read on a sunny day.

I only came to this ice cream place because the other ice cream spots are cash only. What a bad, bad mistake. I can’t believe I spent $10 for 2 “scoops” of ice cream. Not only was it completely melted, but they served the ice cream in a large clear plastic cup and was less than 25% full. You are better off getting ice cream at Dairy Mat, Dairy Deluxe, or even the Kroger freezer aisle. Don’t waste your time or money here.

We came here ready to treat ourselves to some gelato… but instead, we ended up questioning our life choices in an alley that smelled really horrible.

Seriously — the first thing that greets you isn’t the sweet aroma of waffle cones or creamy gelato. No, it’s the overpowering stench of Eau de Manhole, wafting in from not one but *two* sewer covers. It’s like the place was designed by someone who hates noses.

After holding our breath and placing our order, we waited... and waited... what we received was not gelato. They market it as gelato, but it’s nothing close. What we got was a soft, partially melted scoop of basic ice cream — completely unacceptable for a place specializing in frozen desserts.

We were hyped to try Daxton Delights. Now we’re just hyped to warn others. Save your money and maybe bring nose plugs if you’re just *that* curious.

Came here with a few friends and the experience was quite poor.

First, there is a horrible sewer smell at the entrance of the alleyway (which isn’t surprising given the manhole cover at the front of the alley) that permeates back towards the order window.

Second, we each had to wait about 20 minutes for our ice cream.

Third, my ice cream came out completely melted. When I asked for a new one, the employee stated “that’s how it comes.”

Lovely hotel with an excellent atmosphere and vibe. Great location as well. Service at the bar could be improved but overall, a positive experience.

Tons of sugar is the entire and the only ingredient. It is embarrassing to sell this under the name “gelato”! Pricey and definitely not worth it! Don’t get tricked by instagram and their perfect advertising. Is just an empty little alley!

My wife and I went to Daxton Delights for ice cream, picking up our order from the window. We had the Golden House: vanilla gelato with hot fudge, bourbon caramel, topped with a house-made cone and gold flecks. First of all, the smell in the alley was horrible. Then we ordered the ice cream, which turned out to be mediocre and very expensive; we ended up paying $30+ for two servings. The service wasn't very friendly either. I'm not that picky, but I expect excellent quality ice cream at a reasonable price. It's a complete rip-off.

What a lovely place ! Beautiful alleyway with a window at the end! Employees were very friendly and welcoming and suggested us all the delicious treats. Luckily for us it was the weekend, and on weekends they have special drinks- mulled apple cider! Which was incredible! Tasty and delicious! Perfect mix of herbs and spices! Will be coming back!
