Greek Islands Birmingham

On my lunch break, I decided to go down the street to this establishment to sit outside on the patio to eat my lunch in peace to get away from all the commotion going on at work. As I sat down , a nice man started talking to me just being friendly. After a few minutes, a woman from the establishment told me I have to go or I have to buy something. This was this second time of me working in Birmingham that I felt racially profiled. I was not bothering anyone and was just minding my business but was asked to leave. I feel if it was another race , they would not have gotten that treatment. I did not buy anything from them and will never based on that interaction alone.

Chicken Greek salad has great chicken..but no peppers....or chickpeas anymore...and a very skimpy amount of feta! The salad was 15.75....very disappointing

Makayla is amazing, the restaurant is lucky to have her as an employee. She is intelligent, professional, competent and super friendly. We will always ask for Makayla to be our server.

Prompt service and good food makes for a great combination. Breakfast was terrific and fast. Reasonable prices for Birmingham. This is a winner.

Good fresh food. Very fast service was great since we thought we might be late to the movies next door. We made it with time to spare. I might be weird but I like real yellow pepper with my Greek salad. 🥗 I highly recommend this restaurant.

Eating area is very clean.
Waitstaff attentive but a bit of an struggle with English.
