The Brussels sprout salad was excellent—fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced with a delightful mix of flavors. Every bite was a tasty combination of crunchy sprouts and complementary ingredients that made the salad both healthy and satisfying. Definitely a dish worth trying again! The sprouts were perfectly shaved, giving a nice crunch without being too bitter. The dressing was light but flavorful, enhancing the natural taste of the sprouts without overpowering them. I also loved the mix of textures from added nuts and maybe some dried fruit, which brought a sweet and savory contrast. It felt fresh, healthy, and satisfying all at once—definitely a salad that stands out and makes you want more. Perfect for anyone looking for a delicious way to enjoy Brussels sprouts!

Griffin Claw Brewery has been one of my go-to spots since they opened, and it never disappoints. The beer is always excellent, with something for everyone—from creative seasonal options to their classics. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re stopping in with friends or just looking to relax. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and they make great recommendations. On top of that, the food is incredible. The menu changes from time to time, but whatever they put on there is always 10/10. The chicken wings here are the best in metro Detroit! Always a great experience here—highly recommend! 🍻

My friend and I have been to the Rochester location a few times but only once to the Birmingham location quite a few years ago. As we were in the area, we decided to stop in for dinner. There was a slight hiccup with service in the beginning but Manager Kyle swiftly set it right and the rest of our time here went very smoothly. Staff was friendly and quick to fix any goofs made. They do have physical menus upon request which is a must for me as I hate being tied to my phone. For appetizers we enjoyed an order of soft pretzels and the mac rib egg rolls (delicious). My friend had the prime rib philly dip with fries. I was so tempted to get the nightmare on Eton Street as I actually remember it being oh so party in the mouth good the last time we were here but decided on the fish and chips instead. Both dinners were delicious, no complaints. The beers were good, I really could not pick just one favorite. I had a flight consisting of the Screamin' Pumpkin, Berserker, The Macchiato, and Flying Buffalo BBA Imperial Stout. Friend had the El Rojo, Hatchet Harry, Honey Lager, and Ryetoberfest. All were good beers. Ended up purchasing some cans of the Screamin' Pumpkin and The Macchiato to take home. Will have to come back soon, still more beers we need to try.

Can't recommend it anymore. Maybe it's fine during non-peak hours... I almost feel bad doing this, but it's an honest review.
Beer is still decent
Food is still decent, not as good as it used to be though
Seating still sucks
Service has gone downhill big time

We ate here last year in October and the food and beer were amazing. Apparently a lot has changed since then. Food- mid. Left all the dishes on the table and refused to remove them from the table. Beer- mid. No sense of timing and completely uninterested in service.

We just moved to the neighborhood and tried this place out. The beers and ciders were great, and though we didn't get food, it looked great (I'll review after we inevitably eat there). The atmosphere was a lot of fun with a local sports vibe going strong. Service was a little brusque but did the trick and provided great suggestions, so who cares? We'll definitely be making this a regular stop in our neighborhood rounds.

I do enjoy going to Griffin Claw, it’s always fun. The reason why I gave my ratings is because the food is heavy bar food, with minimal lighter options - and I don’t mean just having salads. The beer is great too but also heavy, with bold flavorings. I find IPAs to be overrated, so thank goodness for their El Ligero and Mr. Blue Sky.
