I ordered before noon, and they told me an hour wait. Only for me to get inside to be told another 15 minutes that turned into an hour. Workers are talking negatively about customers and tops not on drinks correctly.

Terrible management carryout 55 minute wait for a few sliders at 8 pm on a Wednesday is unbelievable won't be returning here again

Love this place ! If you like sliders you will love this place. Shoestring fries cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The Coke is even better here. Old time diner with counter service takes you back to your younger days.

Avoid coming here during lunch time, preferably Thursday and Friday afternoons from about noon until 2pm ..this is place is very crowded ..there was no parking and ppl even had to block other cars in to park ..as I am leaving out ppl were coming in lined up on Woodward close to causing an accident just to come to this place..the food is good but its not this serious ..Just cause of the extreme crowds I may start going to other burger joints ..on the inside ppl are touching elbow to elbow ..the take out door can only fit two ppl at a time and it was about 5 ppl smashed up inside the take out door part ..it was very overwhelming then when I went to place an order I was told the wait times were between 30 and 45 minutes ..Idc how busy It is it shoudnt take them no hour damn near for my order. I ordered two drinks and one simple slider and that will take 45 minutes ? Oh no i ended up paying for it and leaving and went to run a few errands and returned to get my food ..this is ridiculous...definitely not a comfortable place to come and eat lunch at very overwhelming

I’m in the parking lot and it’s 11:15 a.m. on a Sunday. I came to the door and it’s locked. It’s raining outside and the staff can clearly see me standing outside. No one acknowledges my presence. I go back to the car and call. Are rude person answers and tells me they aren’t open till 11:30. I explain that I checked the website before coming and I am then told “I don’t know what to tell you “ and hangs up on me. Not a good look.

When I moved to NYC in 1997, I never made the rounds to taste the food I could only get in Michigan & have been dreaming about for almost 30 years now.

I wish I had made the trek to the spot itself, That would have been epic, but instead had them delivered.

These burgers saved my life countless times from alcohol poisoning back in the 90s. I’m not sure if I ever had these sober until today and brothers and sisters let me tell you: they still hit.

The regular burger tasted exactly as I remember them. Tongue don’t lie. A wave of memories of my life here came back to me: some bad but most good.

I don’t remember ever having coneys at HH back in the 90s. The one I had had solid chili but the wieners lacked snap and is thicker than I like. Pause.

The fries and onion rings didn’t hold up to delivery, these need to be eaten there or no longer than 10 min ride. Even an air fryer couldn’t resuscitate them back to life. Epic fail.

The shakes were solid. As were the kids when I dropped them off at the pool the next day. My stomach was forged from the volcanos of the pacific islands I came from.

Another trip down memory lane on this Michigan trip. Hope it won’t be another 28 years until I have these sliders again, but you never know. The spots along Life’s winding roads should never be taken for granted. Even if some of the memories are bad, the good memories will always make the reunion worth it.

Probably one of the best smash burger joints you might ever come across.

Popular in the area, usually crowded. Expect that you may have to walk to it from other parking, or wait some time to make your order.
