Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

Everything was good, smooth; little long of wait food was good. It was my fiancé birthday. They called and asked for the spelling of her name. To never bring what ever they had for her to our table. That was the only bad part about this visit other than that it was excellent.

Beautiful Restaurant. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, it was a little loud and they were very busy so the service was a little slow. I would still recommend, Just bring your pocketbook!

For our first time at Hyde Park in Birmingham, we were celebrating a birthday. Each staff member we interacted with was friendly. Mike was exceptional. We called ahead to speak with the chef for dietary restrictions - he made suggestions and it was a pleasant experience. The food was excellent.

We went for our 3-year anniversary. The wait time was short, the staff were knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was super good! I do regret not getting the lobster biques tho. Next time!

Unfortunately this time my experience at Hyde Park wasn’t good at all. We were not greeted by servers that were passing by and when we finally did ,the service was just awful. Our servers made sarcastic jokes and comments. Very unnecessary. It left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Food was good I like that they offer a 2 course dining meal all day on Sunday. My alcohol free hibiscus margarita was delicious. The tableside flambéed butter cake was amazing. Wonderful experience all around.

For the hefty amount I spent there, I expected an exceptional dining experience. However, I found myself preferring Flemings Steakhouse or London Chop House instead. Our server was extremely short and seemed disinterested in their job. On two separate occasions, our requests were not met.

We came in for my wife's birthday dinner. The service was excellent. My New York strip was very good but I ordered a side of zip sauce and it was not a good flavor compared to other zips I have tasted. My wife's filet mignon was very tough and lacked flavor (it was ordered medium but was cooked well done). We also had the gruyer au gratin potatoes that were just okay. I have had much better meals here in the past so I chalk this one up to an off night.

Steak was not cooked medium well, host attempted to seat a couple before us and we had a reservation. Server Maggie or Margaret was okay she didn't have manners meaning saying you're welcome after we would say thank you every time she checked on our table

Megan was wonderful and personable. She took time to chat with us even though it was very busy night.

My family and I have started a tradition to celebrate each of our birthdays in this wonderful restaurant. Six of us usually dine there together other times also. Last night we celebrated my Son's birthday and we were seated next to the pathway from the kitchen and it was not very relaxing!!! Between the constant movement behind my chair and breaking dishes landing inches from my granddaughter's chair, it was most disappointing. The food and the service however was excellent as usual. We will continue to be patrons of this great restaurant but we will be more aware of where we are seated.

First time there, went for wife's birthday. Her steak was cold, barely received any water refills, and they totally got my meal wrong as well. Will be a long while before we try it again.

My husband and I was there for sweetest day and made sure to tell the reason before the event. I was first set by the bar with a loud group of people at the bar. After explaining we wanted an quite intimate dinner, they accommodated. My big compliment was the small table we had to share. We ordered dinner with a lot of side and was disappointed in the space being limited. We asked about bigger table and was told this was all they had. I went to the daytona Florida location and never had this problem. The server was Great and welcoming. The food however, was delicious! My steak was perfect, garlic potatoes was out of this world, and the cream corn was amazing. I ordered the velvet cake for home and I couldn't believe it was a 1/2 of a whole cake, of course got it home and it also was delicious with the fudge sauce given.

Drinks were amazing. Atmosphere feels like an old 1920s steakhouse which is a massive positive in my eyes. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend
