Food is excellent. The menu uses high quality ingredients from Italy. Owner and staff are very personable and friendly. One of the best restaurants in town.

Delicious and authentic Italian cuisine! Their lambchops won Hour Magazine's 2025 Best Bites! We enjoyed all the food that hit the table. We were entertained watching them prepare it. I love it and would highly recommend it!

Our entire meal was sublime, from appetizers to dessert. All the dishes were delicious and plated beautifully. The service was warm and professional and we enjoyed watching the culinary process through the open kitchen. The chef was in the dining room and greeted us at our table. You can tell he truly loves what he does. We greatly enjoyed our experience and will be returning for sure.

bruschetta is great, service is great, all pastas, dessert, and drinks were wonderful (the cannoli is amazing)

This is my favorite Birmingham spot. I love how authentic the food is and the overall experience is so special. I love going here for special occasions or to the bar for a casual dinner. They did such a good job with the bar extension of the restaurant! The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Always a go-to spot for me! ❤️

One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. Our drinks took 45 minutes to come out and our food took almost 2 hours. We didn't even get breadsticks until we had sat there for over an hour.

We had a 615pm reservation. Sat down right away . Waited over 20 minutes to just get a drink . Incredibly slow service . Didn't take our food order til after 7pm . Everything took very long time . Waiter was nice but not attentive at all. Food was okay but service wasn't . Been there before and same slow service !!!

My colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at La Strada. The food was exceptional and the service was gracious and friendly. We enjoyed talking with the executive chef who greeted us at our table. Very highest recommendation!

I have had 2 outstanding meals here prior to today’s less then mediocre meal that cost me $345+tip with no drinks all food. I will not be returning for a future meal. That’s what’s tough about the restaurant business. You’re as good as your last meal. The meatballs tasted like they were store brought and just reheated, compared to prior meals where they were the best meatballs I’ve ever had. The veal chop Parmesan, which in prior meals was one of the best dishes ever!! Today’s veal chop Parmesan was less than mediocre and I know 10 places that Make a better veal Parmesan than the one I just had. If I’m going to spend this kind of money at a restaurant, the meal has to be outstanding.
