I usually get the Greek salad with sesame soy chicken tenders or the nachos. Everything is always fresh, and the staff never disappoints.
Come here if you want great food in a relaxed, low-key environment without all the bright lights and crowds you get in Birmingham.
Plus, they close late, that’s always a plus.

I’ve lived and worked in Birmingham for over 11 years, and I’ve supported LUXE many times — but after my last visit, I’ll never go back. When I walked in, the hostess didn’t greet me or acknowledge me. When she finally approached, she was shockingly rude — cold, dismissive, and mean-spirited. I even told her I’d seen her before and that she’d helped me in the past, hoping for some basic decency. Instead, she doubled down with pure attitude, like she was going out of her way to be nasty. Later, when I calmly told her how she made me feel, she said she didn’t care and that it was my problem. The manager wasn’t any better — offering a hollow, insincere apology that made it clear they just don’t value how they treat people. The bartender was the only bright spot, but no amount of good food or drinks can make up for the way I was treated. No one deserves to be spoken to like that — not in this community, not anywhere.

Had back-to-back wonderful experiences at Luxe! Our first waitress, Faith, was so great and attentive. The food was delicious, a solid quantity. The Brussels sprout salad was so good we came back the second night of our trip to have it again. Surprisingly the grilled cheese was a fan favorite but the star of the show is the burger! We will definitely be back again.

It’s truly one of the best ambiance options in the city — a small, intimate space with a dark, moody vibe that’s perfect for cozy winter nights, balanced by a lively outdoor patio that shines in spring, summer, and fall.
The food is consistently solid, exactly what you’d hope for from elevated American bar fare. On this visit, we enjoyed a classic cheeseburger with shoestring fries (always a win), chicken tenders from the appetizer menu for our toddler, a Caesar salad with salmon, and an Aperol spritz. Everything was fresh, tasty, and exactly as expected.
Other favorites I’d recommend include the ahi tuna salad, steak bites, and the blue cheeseburger — all standouts. Whether you’re looking for a date night, a reliable spot with friends, or even a family-friendly dinner, Luxe Bar continues to deliver.

Really. This cowboy burger with a side of mac and cheese - for a cheat day - OMG worth every bite. Like you know how Mac and cheese can taste bland? Not this - it’s like buttery gooey goodness. And the service has been exceptional!! So friendly. Hanging on the patio on my own. It’s comfy, safe and upbeat music at the right volume. Only drawback - cars driving down road. Highly recommend

I have been here so many time 9/10 times the service is not good. The food takes forever to come out regardless if it’s a burger or salad. The servers seem to forget about us especially if you sit outside. They were not even busy.

I’ve been here over 10 times, but the service is consistently disappointing. Every visit involves waiting much longer than promised, and on two occasions, our reservation was given away. It’s frustrating to deal with the same issues time and again. I’ll likely keep coming back, but the service really needs serious improvement. Please do better.
