My friends and I absolutely love dining at Madam Restaurant in the heart of Birmingham city. The vibe is always amazing, and a big part of that is Ocean, the restaurant manager. He consistently takes such great care of us and makes every visit feel special.
We recently tried some of the new menu items, and they were definitely worth it—fresh, flavorful, and something a little different from the usual. The happy hour is exceptional, and ordering a variety of appetizers to share is always our go-to.
An all-around fantastic experience every time. We’ll definitely be coming back!

If you ever need to host a group dinner/event, HIGHLY recommend Madam! Jennifer Suchocki and her team at Madam were great to work with. They were extremely communicative, accommodating, and kind. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were attentive and so nice! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!!

Lovely environment and ambience. However, it was noisy. Could be because they were having an event so won't hold it against them. However, the service was impeccable and beyond reproach. The food was very good as well. Finally very pricey. Average cocktail price $25 For one. Would recommend going for happy hour when things are half off.

Drinks were delicious but that's about the only positive. Went for brunch and thought it was beyond overpriced. Steak and eggs lacked flavor all together and the potatoes provided was about two bites of what tasted like frozen hash browns. Eggs Benedict was decent. For the quality and price, there are better restaurants nearby that I would recommend over eating here

Worst dining experience ever on NYE. Food was terrible service was horrible. We ordered appetizers only and it took 3hrs before the food came out. No accommodation. Don’t come her.

The food was bad and overpriced. The serviced was significantly subpar. It seemed like none of the staff had any idea what they were supposed to be doing. Coupled with food that was just plain bad, and way too expensive, I won't be going back.

I planned a special New Year Eve dinner with my girlfriend. Our experience at Madam was absolutely horrible. We had a 730pm reservation that we were not seated for until 8pm. Service was ridiculously slow. It took one hour for cold, hard bread. Another hour for a lazy three piece shrimp cocktail and salad. Then a third hour until we received our entre. When we finally received our entre it was overcooked, cold and hard. The staff continuously lied saying our meal was coming when it was not. The restaurant used to be considered a high end establishment. It is now nothing more than a local restaurant. We will never eat there again.

Utay was a fabulous waiter. He was very busy , but his helper was there checking on us. It was New Year's Eve , so a fixed price menu was offered. We both chose to take it. Everything was fantastic!!!! My only complaint... were a few of the other tables. Complaining about everything!!!! If it were my restaurant, I would've asked them to leave. Sorta put a damper on the evening. But will definitely go back .. maybe the guests had too much to drink!!

Fantastic but we must compliment Mr Vikash and Mr Shaan for superb service and conversation. Based on this experience this is now a go to treat for us in the future! Denis and Candace Blofield

We had a delicious family dinner last night! Everything was outstanding—from cocktails, appetizers & entrees to desserts. Service was a little slow, but well worth the wait.

Such a disappointment! Horrible dinner : Lack of service, order wrong, bad food, overpriced. Three beverages arrived at one time, but 4th came 10 minutes later. So my tea wasn't hot when 4th drink came. Tea was not served with teapot, sweetener, spoon, nor dish for tea bag, so it was cold when spoon and sweetener arrived. Absolutely nothing served for 45 minutes , and then one dinner arrived. Bread ($15.00) took almost an hour to arrive. So for one hour there was absolutely nothing for 3 of us to eat. Our dinners took an hour and a half to arrive. diner whose meal arrived at 45 minutes was done before ours arrived. Second order was wrong and had to be sent back. Next dinner (chicken) was inedible due to an extreme amount of salt and had to be sent back. By the time everyone was done, there was no replacement for that order. The fourth dinner (salmon) was overcooked and dry. Our host had to get up to find a salt shaker. (The grapefruit fizz cost $23.00.) Waiter largely absent. Manager largely absent. Restaurant had many empty tables, so hard to understand.

Very disappointing Christmas Eve dinner- Beet Salad was horrible as was the shrimp pasta which was also cold. Service was very slow and inattentive The Short rib was great but the pile of creamy pasta was not a compliment to the dish. The tuna was the best thing we had- service was

We had brunch. Food was wonderful. We ordered a French omelette and the Dutch Pancake. Both were excellent. Their brunch menu is great, something for everyone. Service outstanding!

Great food but despite them not being that busy, we waited 45 minutes to order, an additional 45 minutes to receive our food, and had to ask for more water several times before they came back with some. Turned a 4-person dinner into a 3 hour production. Just expect sublime service for a place that expensive and that wasn't really the case.
